I would switch to MDR, even if you also want to eat in specialty restaurants
I would not trust room service from the MDR for allergy-centric meals. Also, it really isn't that good since it often is cold when it arrives (not due to anyone's laziness, just the long trek to your room)- 1

Any legal questions are best asked of RC directly.

Look up the companies mentioned in this thread and ask if they can provide car seats.

It is not inconceivable that a person booked a 2 bedroom suite simply because that was all that was available at the time they made their booking?
Since the 2 BR suites are limited and in high demand, that's unlikely.
This is merely just the algorithm giving options to bid on what's technically a higher category of cabin, regardless of the practicality of it. -
I thought it was still free on port days.

Depends on the ship if you get drinks on that last day.
That said, your first cruise ends when you swipe out that last time, so once you got back after customs, you'd be onto Day 1.

Not a chance I'd give up a 2BR suite for either. But as mentioned, technically a higher category, so that's why you see them.

This is the true "life pro tip" that I also discovered on my last cruise. Arrive around 1pm and walk straight through onboard to your room without stopping once you hit the port. Hassle and crowd free to boot.
If I was driving to the port, I'd do this.
But for those of us flying in, better to be on the ship first thing than mill around at the hotel.- 1

I've never been on a cruise where there wasn't a daily Friend of Bill W listed on the cruise planner.

We have Verizon, which has a $10 per day per device option when traveling.
Key thing here is this is ONLY when on or within a couple miles of land. This will be a lot more expensive if you're at sea.

Based on data that gets loaded in the background when you log into your account, Icon 3 will have a ship code of "TR"

Treasure? Triumph? Hmmm…
Closest I could find what a trademark RC has for Intrigue.

$22 per day from the cruise planner is a terrible price though.
And it's no guarantee the onboard price will be $25. My last cruise (on Adventure, so not a new ship) it was $31.- 1

Way to far in advance for Oasis 7. It will be for Icon 3. Name ties in nicely with Icon and Star.
They already assigned ship code "LE" to Oasis 7. They assigned "TR" to Icon 3.
When you log into your account, all the ship info (for the entire RC Group) is loaded in the background.
Oasis 7 was there many months before they announced it, too. Also, the ship code for Star, "ST", was there long before they announced that name.

Have you had Covid or Covid symptoms in the last 10 days
It hasn't been like that in a long time. Now it's "do you have any random symptom for anything such as x, y, z" and "in the last 24 hours"

Unless you're on a short cruise, it'll always be more expensive on board, even with the discount

The allure of shoulder season pricing is strong, but there is a reason for it….
Count me as one who would love that weather on a cruise.

It's only worth it if the price is close to the price of internet AND you take advantage of everything that the Key offers.
Otherwise it's just expensive internet.- 1

"Are you too pregnant to cruise?"
"Do you feel OK?"
That's what the questionnaire is these days.- 1

Overnight they repositioned us, we are in a shipyard in North Vancouver now, close to the ironworkers memorial bridge.
All the more reason to ensure people stayed on board.

No, if you're overnighting in a port, you normally are allowed to come and go as you wish.
But they really aren't overnighting in a port of call.
Everyone boarding that ship yesterday didn't expect to get off the ship until the first port of call. So not being able to get off while stuck in Vancouver shouldn't be a big deal.- 1

So no one is allowed off the ship until the next port stop. Isn't that kind of...normal?

I've been on Adventure a few times. No issues in the MDR, WJ or Chops breakfast.
