Vinted has become my go to evening wear buying app.

I've bought Autograph by M&S and BooHoo.

I also sell on there and Ebay which helps my cruise fund.

Another good source are charity shops especially in more shall we say affluent areas 😉 got a beautiful Jasper Conran dress for £12.  Wow.

    Hth

I just checked out vinted.  Looks like there are some really good finds there.  thanks.

Ta Dah! I have images of the Jalie 3243.  It is a challenge to photograph dark coloured items 🤣

The other image is from the final round robin game and one of the volunteer's is a photographer and she has been uploading all of the photos she had been taken during the 10 days of the Tim Hortons Brier.  She has requested that her photos not be cropped and the watermark to stay.... I have no problem with that 💕. The young kids with us are Future Stars of curling and they were hosted by the 'home team' on sheet A. That night it was  Wild Card #3  Karsten Sturmay from Alberta.  The 'kids' each received a team shirt as well as other collectable memorabilia from the team. Watching the team practice prior to the start of the game.

Have a great week every one,

We see the State Dept has issued warnings (strongly suggest to reconsider travel) on travel to Mexico, including Cabo, Puerto Vallarta and Sinaloa where Mazatlan is located. These are the 3 stops for our upcoming cruise. Has anyone heard if Princess is offering an opportunity to cancel and rebook another cruise/another time at no fee/loss of monies? We are fully paid.

Do you have trip ins, that has cancel for any reason?  You also can enroll in this

  4. I have never been in one of those cabins.  But there is a lot going on right above you.  For me, I  would not want to have to think about having a noisy cabin before I even get on the ship.  We have on Emerald deck all the time.  We have been in E-319, E-433, E-429, E-437, E-425. more than once.  We really like these cabins.  They have a larger balcony and are quiet.

Recently, my travel agent booked a M1 category mini suite on the Ruby Princess for my husband and I and a second cabin for my elderly mother but in a regular balcony category. She is by herself in the cabin.  In looking at the booking documents it says we are in the Reserved Collection Mini suite with all the Club Amenities. This looked nice especially for the dedicated dining room with no wait or reservations required. Except we are also traveling with my elderly mom. Does anyone know if she will be able to dine with us at the club class dedicated dining area? Thankyou for responding

I think your travel agent should have know that the dining is going to be different for you and your mother. This should have been told to you before you booked. For me, I would get out of club class (save the money) and get a balcony or a reg mini and eat with your mom.

  6. For me.  I leave the auto tip on.  At the end of the cruise I will give a cash gift to those who gave me great service.  Except  if I order a drink (a diet coke) at a bar, I will give a tip, for good service because I might not see that waiter again, or room service.

I don't tip before I am given great service.  Because for me, I want the waiters to treat me that way I should be treated, not because I give out money.  I want them to respect me, the way I respect them, not because they received money from me.  I don't want to be treated better because I give out money .I don't want favors because of money.  I am paying for the cruise and expect the great service that comes with the cruise fare.

I will thank (extra tip) those who have gone beyond and given me great service.

I hope that I explained myself correctly and I don't mean to put any one down who has a different way of tipping.

which is not the same but much better than the "red thing"

I do have (or will have when I finish) photos & opinions of all the dining room food from our cruise on my live of our Hawai'i r/t on the Crown

That looks good.  What was in it?

I am puzzled by the comment "I only saw that post that you made". My post said "we received an email asking for our bank account details for the money to be paid into". This wording was there and I didn't alter it. 🙂

BTW, the email was from the bank that was going to be transferring the money to our bank. I felt quite comfortable in giving the requested information.

I read your post #48.  Have a nice day.

    Bye
