  1. One of the first things waitstaff will ask is if anyone has food allergies. Whatever you tell them, they'll write down. You should have no problems asking for items to be left off an order (and if it happens to come with the item always ask for it to be remade). While I don't have allergies I often ask for things to be left off my order or to put something on the side. NCL has always been great about this.
  2. It's Terminal B and there's a parking garage next to the terminal.
  3. I was on Dawn recently and loved Bistro, Los Lobos and Bistro. Food and service were excellent in all three.
  4. As I mentioned, David will still be on Prima April 9th. John will be concierge on Prima after his vacation.
  5. Try calling tech support 866-625-1160 Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  6. Generally there are a variety of themed parties (70s, 80s, Latin, White/Glow).
  7. John will be moving to Prima when David Contreras goes home (David going to Viva).
  8. Wow. I did and also had to watch it in my cabin for my February cruise.
  9. Watching the video has been a mandatory part of check-in since the restart so it's nothing new.
  10. Not sure if you know this but the Osso Bucco (easily one of my favorite entrees) is now a lamb shank not veal. It is delicious.
  11. Therese Montines is currently concierge. David Newball is scheduled to replace her around March 19. Both are wonderful!
  12. Although Cucina doesn't have chicken parm, one of the main dining rooms has it on the lunch menu occasionally and it's quite good. Check with the The Local too -- it is sometimes a dinner special there.
  13. BBC news is one of the regular channels (also MSNBC, Fox and CNBC). Nothing local while sailing.
  14. Programs shown on NCL TV are limited to begin with so I wouldn't count on it. There are a few news channels, movies and sports (could be soccer, football, golf etc) and that's it.
  15. It's just you. Perhaps upon arrival you could tell your cabin steward NOT to bring strawberries at all. Problem solved.
  16. They still do. And for example @sailingshipseven if you are Diamond or Ambassador and not in a suite, your card would still be green.
  17. I am happy to hear that the process was smooth last August and it was as it should be. Something happened since then to change things because my cruises were November of 2022 and December of 2022 and the experiences were completely different.
  18. I did two B2B cruises from PC (one in November and one in late December). BOTH times it was a nightmare (I'd use a stronger word but not allowed here). On the November cruise, there were 10 of us B2B. We met in the theater at 9:00 a.m. where we were told we had to wait for a zero count before they could deal with us. Around 10:30 we were finally escorted off the ship into the terminal where we had to wait in another area to go through immigration then just...waited. Our escort's radio didn't work so he had to keep running outside to find out when we could reboard. Finally around 11:30 we were brought upstairs to reboard only to see that general boarding had already begun. 😡 On my December cruise, I was the only B2B passenger and went through essentially the same process although I was told by the concierge it would be a smoother process "this time". It wasn't and a lot had to do with the PC personnel who were rude and downright nasty stopping us constantly along the way demanding to know what we were doing. When I was finally taken down to immigration, I and my escort were the only two non-employee people there. I asked a worker if I could just go through and she screamed at me that I would go when she said I could go. Literally 10 seconds later she announced dramatically that I could go. Then suddenly I was told to "wait here" until she said I could go back upstairs (again less than a minute later I was "released"). Once again general boarding had already begun and to say I was angry and frustrated is an understatement. I spoke with the GM once I was back on board and he had heard many similar stories before and said they were looking into the process. Port Canaveral is the only port where I have had such experiences. In other ports, you're off then back on quickly and get to enjoy the ship for some quiet time before boarding begins. I truly hope things have gotten better and you will report your own experience back here. Bon voyage.
  19. If you are in the Haven, cigar smoking is allowed in the forward smoking area on upper sun decks.
  20. For the SB usually the casino will have squares for betting on the game. Last year they were $20/square.
  21. Once upon a time, hosts always offered to make dinner reservations for me based on my play. Now with it being easier to book online in advance of your cruise or when you get on board, restaurants do tend to sell out quicker than in the past. Not sure why you'd ask the host to make the reservations when you'd have a better chance of getting them yourself?
  22. In my recent experience having the Premium+ package, Aqua Panna was available in the Haven and also throughout the ship.
