I received an email late on July 8th letting me know that due to recent changes in my 8/9/23 Apex cruise, I owed $70+ and that (something) would be canceled if I didn’t pay by 7/11. Not sure what they were going to cancel since the link went to my main cruise reservation page.

Problem is that that no changes had been made, cruise had been fully paid a while ago, the last restaurant reservation had been made in March. 

Strangely, the same thing happened a couple of months ago for our 7/31 cruise for over $200.

I called our big box TA who then called Celebrity. It sounds like some of our OBC fell off? (Why only some and not all? 🤷‍♀️)

All I know is that I’ll be bringing copies of my paperwork and my emails.

Happy birthday cruise! We were on the Summit in October 2022 out of Boston and loved it. 

As a retired educator (40 years), I have to agree with with Azulann. While all teachers are heroes in my book, Special Ed teachers are extra special.

Carol, thanks for letting us know. Norris, I hope you feel much better very soon.

I hope your husband is feeling better soon and that you stay healthy. It doesn’t help that the Wi-Fi isn’t working well and that there isn’t much on the TV. The Red Bull crazy sports gets old after a while.

yiu reminded me I need to do a video.   They have a new item on menu to stream from phone or pc wirelessly.    Really works well and no need to get to the HDMI ports.

Happy retirement! It is a great time to take longer or B2B cruises.

In October 2022 we did a Canada/New England (Boston-Boston) and ABC Islands (Boston-Miami) B2B along with a Fall Foliage road trip and a couple of days in Boston before boarding the Summit. We had a fabulous time.

This summer we are cruising the Norwegian Fjords and Iceland & Ireland B2B out of Amsterdam/Rotterdam with a few days in Amsterdam before embarking.

What would your In-laws enjoy? Alaska? Europe? Caribbean?

A port intensive itinerary would keep the teens busy. Everyone could book excursions that they like and meet back at dinner.
