  1. I don't think you'll see or receive any information until booking opens.
  2. Our anniversary is the day of the eclipse. But if we don't make this one, then there's August 12, 2045 over Florida.
  3. What time zone does Princess use when referring to bookings opening on May 23? Pacific US or Eastern US?
  4. I found it. Nevermind. https://www.faxafloahafnir.is/hafnaradstada/harbor/sundahofn-skarfabakki/ easy walk for us. https://maps.app.goo.gl/7CfeXr7QYvzHHffA6
  5. Sort of topic question. 🤔 But where does ship dock? We have tour starting at Harper Center in downtown.
  6. The Eurostar site allows a through ticket now. But it did not until after we had already booked. The Through ticket was also cheaper. Oh well, so much for advance planning. I contacted them about rebooking, but we bought the non-refundable tickets to save money.
  7. We definitely concur with @onyx007 . When I consider the process of getting to the airport early, then security, then the risk of not getting our carryon bag on the plane because of space or size, the plane is just more stress. Then there's the risk of it not leaving on time. I don't want to fly on the small KLM City aircraft. From the port to the train station via the Tram is only 15-20 minutes. And then we're on, shortly after. I feel more relaxed on the train. Yes, we have to go through immigration off platform, and then connect to next train. But that's not that bad. We have musical tickets for two shows in London. But neither is on the day our train arrives.
  8. We got the drink package with our cruise. So I guess 'every hour' is happy hour. 🙂
  9. I happened to be traveling on July 20. That's the last day that EuroStar is going from Rotterdam to Brussels. 🙂. After that the trip will be on only on SCNB which is about 2hrs rather than the roughly 1hr on Eurostar. We have 1.5hr layover in Brussels. So not too concerned if first leg is a little late.
  10. I was just dealing with this exact situation. And by chance thought I would see if any threads were discussing this on CC. Our cruise to Iceland on the Rotterdam from Rotterdam is from Jul 6 - Jul 20. Afterwards, I did the research on the Eurostar is still traveling from Rotterdam to Brussels and then can get the Brussels to London connection. From what I can tell a 45 minute platform change is all that's required. Here's the schedule we are going to do: Rotterdam to Brussels Train #ER9328 9:59 - 11:08 Brussels to London Train #ES9135 12:52 - 13:57
  11. One thing that I don’t care for on some older celebrity ships like the equinox is the single huge dining room. That vaults up to the 2nd next level. It’s always very loud and hard to have a conversation without feeling that you either can’t hear or need to talk loudly for others to hear you. This is not an issue with the princess dining rooms. Which have a single level ceiling and feel more intimate and cozy. Despite their size.
  12. Be careful with your WiFi calling plan, depending on the Repeater, your carrier might treat it was an International call, even though YOU are on a US plan, calling to a US number. This info is buried deep on the Carriers websites. At least it was for Verizon. You might want to check on using WhatsApp or Facetime audio for calls.
  13. I do think you raise a good question. This is not like a concert, musical, play or other venue, where tickets are bought in advance, so a know number of seats that are needed or used very specifically in most cases. Not taking into account any 'packages', on one cruise we never went to any of the shows, and on the next we went to 3. My buying a package for drinks, etc. would have no correlation as to whether I go to a show. So is there a time at which before the show, that the reserved seats/rows would be forfeited. That would seem to defeat the purpose of privilege of not having to show up so early for a preferred seat.
  14. You're correct. It was terrible that people were still clubbing up there during this.
  15. The only big changes I can remember, were when they removed the old Skywalker lounges on the older ships that were elevated in the back of the ships. I was so disappointed with that. That was a great place to just read and relax quietly indoors during the day.
  16. The other choice is pick them up at the Port. I saw a bunch of people doing that on our last cruise. That also alleviates the risk of not getting them in time. We got our latest booking in before the charge took effect. My DW, says she still wants to have them delivered in the future.
  17. I would like to try the Edge Class. Just not a ship with a single 3 story roof in the dining room, where I can barely hear my own thoughts, let alone have a conversation. I never considered that an issue, or even knew of it possibly, until I was on the Celebrity Millennium. And I won't even start about the lack of service in the Dining room. So bad, that we simply got up and walked out twice. And many that were around us that we saw. So NO, no-one should judge simply because of one person, but I would do more research before I got on any ship. We loved the route we were on, it was the Japanese Islands, Korea, ending in Shanghai.
  18. DO NOT go on the Celebrity Millennium. Or any of its sister ships. --- that's from my experience.
  19. Correction: It only went out to the TA to Florida. It was before those showed up online.
  20. We had gotten a copy of it on our last cruise on the Regal in November from the Future Cruise Sales. But I can't find it now. So it is Out. I see it's yet to be posted to the Princess site, which is strange. It had all the cruises until the repositioning back to the Mediterranean.
  21. $110. Plane came in around 6pm. There are cheaper methods. But we don't want shuttle with many people and stops.
  22. We have used Uber. Even from MIA where it was cheaper for us to fly.
