  1. Thank you for posting this review. We leave in 4 days to board Adventure so reading this and seeing the pictures is getting me primed. Will you be posting pictures of the menus? DW would really like to know what awaits her before we board.

Ken, my hubby and I are that cruise also for our first B2B. I am sure we will see you at the Meet and Mingle.

  2. PS: Here is a thread with pictures. The only complaint is the noise that may come from the steward storage closet next door. To us, it would not be a problem at all, as we are early risers. Some people say the noise is bad, others say they did not hear noise at all...

Personally, I would love the extra balcony room!

Thank you so very much. I truly enjoyed your review and I am so glad I ran across it.

I hope your husband has continued to improve.

  3. More beautiful views from Central Park:

Here is one of the "secret" extended CP balconies (those ending in 229 or 629):

I have a question for you regarding the "secret" extended balcony of 229 and 629. Is that for every deck? I ask because this is the first I have heard of it and I have 10229 booked on Symphony next Oct. to sail the Mediterranean. :halo:

  4. The real answer is yes.

I have let my kids have soda with it plenty of times.

It is only an issue with people on this website.....

That is called Theft, plain and simple.

It clearly states in the T & C that the Beverage Packages are per person and if you are caught sharing, then the Beverage Package can be terminated without refund.

  5. Surely you aware how easy it is to 'dummy' photos! I wouldn't accept a picture of a credit card on your phone either, or some unknown person on your phone saying 'yes it's his card'. Sorry your vacation was ruined, but you made 2 mistakes - not notifying your credit card company of your upcoming travel and not carrying a 2nd credit card (which had also been properly notified of travel plans) as backup. Yes, we can agree that the threat of arrest was a little extreme, but then we don't know how the conversation went that led up to that threat.

We saw a whole family arrested (actually we saw them being escorted off the ship with all their luggage, with police waiting at the end of the gangway) over a credit card This family had used a credit card to charge multiple purchases at the Art Auctions. When the card was run it had been reported as stolen. A little different from your situation, but they do take credit card issues very seriously.

As they should! I worked for a bank and Credit Card fraud is a very serious issue, which you would think the OP would understand.

I for one am glad that RCCL is so careful.

  6. Am I the only one that thinks the threat of arrest is extreme and uncalled for?

RCCL was doing was they should have done. You could have been using a stolen card and they have to protect themselves against that. Otherwise they would be in all kinds of legal trouble.

How hard is that to understand? You need to take a step back and look at it from there point.
