Another debarkation question: Tell me about "Customs". What's involved with "clearing" Customs when you're getting off the ship to head home?

Miami has facial recognition so there is no stopping.  Declaration forms are given to you along with your debark papers in your cabin.  At least thats the way it was on my last few cruises out of Miami.

  2. This is from their website:

What is EXCLUDED in the Cheers package:

    • Beverages promoted and sold in souvenir glasses
    • Bottles of liquor
    • Beverages offered at the gangway
    • Beverages offered through room service and/or other in-stateroom beverage programs

Beverages purchased off the ship at any port of call, including Princess
    Cays and Half Moon Cay
    • Sharing cocktails, floaters, pitchers, tubes and buckets
    • Beverages offered through enomatic wine machines
    • Freshly squeezed orange juice served in the Havana Bar
    • All other beverage-related programs including merchandise, cigars and cigarettes
    • Food items

  3. I have not been on Jubilee but I believe the set up is the same as Celebration and Mardi Gras.

For the "big" shows in celebration central (dont know what its called on Jubilee) the sight lines are awful unless you are on the main floor.  For those seats you probably need to get there more than an hour before.

You can hang out and just drink until the show start.  🍹

    Enjoy your cruise!

  4. We sailed on the Miracle to Alaska last year and enjoyed the ship.

As some have said, it is an old Farcus design ship but fun!  It definetly did not feel crowded at all.

We also love the Excel ships (been on Celebration 4x and going on Mardi Gras in January)

We are booked for a northern Europe sailing June, 2025 for 12 days on the Miracle.

Go with an open mind and enjoy your cruise!

When that was almost over we went into the Teatro Rosso for the comedy showcase. Y’all know I’m cautious when it comes to these now. Even on the last night. The chances were good that we would have decent comedians tho so we went. I’m so glad we did. We saw Jeff Shaw and Macio.  Both were very funny and well worth the freezing theater they had us in.

After that we went back to the cabin, W set out the luggage and we got ready for the long task of going back to GA on Friday.

Before I fell asleep I said a prayer thanking God that I only had 1 floor to go when that person assaulted my whole life with their flatulence in the elevator earlier. It was one of those silent deadly bombs. The ones that are filled with rotting goat cheese and asbestos. It sticks to you. It follows you. You need to escape and you need everyone to know that it wasn’t YOU. I thought I was going to perish. I thought maybe they had perished. I didn’t know how long I could hold my breath(I was gonna find out). I wondered if anyone ever died from this smell. I wondered what they ate that smelled so foul. Just as my eyes started to water and I was feeling lightheaded, DING! The doors opened and I was free to breathe again. Whoo. Fresh air never smelled so good. Thank you Jesus for coming thru in the clutch. Yet again. Amen.

P.S. Maybe I need one of those oxygen mask thingys too.

If you both qualify for the same offer at booking, you each get the same perks that apply to each booking that you were offered for that same date when you sail in the same cabin.

For example, if DH and I each have offer XYZ, and we both get drinks everywhere, but DH has $500 in funplay, yet I have $200, the offer for each of us would be, the cabin (for whomever was offered the better cabin), the drinks on us everywhere for both of us, and differing amounts of funplay.

Thanks to everyone who's following along! It really does mean a lot, this time more than usual.

For those of you not over on The Tribe forum, I'll keep this very short here because it's not what I want to dwell on on the LIVE, but my dad passed away yesterday. My mom and I are very close and we've gotten a ton done in the whirlwind last 24 hours, and i've been sternly informed that my dad, who grew up on a caribbean island, loved the sea, and introduced me to cruising back in '88 on the OG Celebration, would haunt me for all eternity if I canceled this trip.

SO... ahem.... I'm keeping this as fun and positive and summer vibetastic as possible, even if I'm sure I might go in a different direction than you're used to occasionally. You never know how the drink package is gonna hit.

But yeah. Thank y'all a ton for sailing along with me 🙂

So sorry for your loss 😢

@amurray88 - Just remember to bring cans.  Everyone is prickly about bottles (even plastic).  I see it the same way and will take the risk.  12 pack of Coke = $6 vs. 12 Cokes bought online = $48.

@JamieLogical - yeah, amazing how people completely ignore the message and just chime in.  sigh.😃

I WAS trying to be helpful, NOT trying to "CHIME" in. I realized it AFTER i posted.    geeesh
