First time Saga cruiser. Chauffeur service question.

Last time we left for Dover it took just over 4 hrs from Crewkerne Somerset (we were second pick up) Stop at Amesbury for Coffee & Loo (Other passengers were from Torbay). Then quick Loo Stop @ Services on M20. Our pick up was 10.00am. -
But you would will still have the "Fluid" Price System & loose the Early Booking Pre-Reg max discount! Very odd wanting to accept higher prices!.

Apparently over 3000 Pre Registered for 2025.

Booked a Canaries Cruise with an increase of £200 over 2024 price (approx 7% increase)

Got the call yesterday having pre-registered in Feb 23. Booked 2 Cruises both @ 35% discount.

Looks like the Chef is clearing out oddments from the Stores. Gammon & Mash yet again!. -
Why didn't Saga issue the E-Brochure last Friday to give people to mull over the Cruises & then start ringing on Monday. With all the issues over the Brochure Launch & some not resolved until yesterday afternoon. Seems very rushed when a bit of sensible planning could be easily applied.

No Greenland/USA & Canada/North Cape or Canaries & Cape Verde.

And remember that each OBC of £50 probably costs P&O £20!.

On another Site Saga have been quoted as saying that the E-Brochure will be sent out this weekend & phone calls will commence from Monday.

Flyers for "2025 Coming Soon" were sent out nearly four weeks ago. For the last 2 years the E-Brochure has been issued @ end of February. If this year follows suit why not advertise a Date for the E-Brochure release & General On Sale date (usually approx 4 weeks later). Perhaps this is too simple a system?. At this rate it will be Easter before General Sale is open. Get on with it Saga!

Repeat Menu from a few days ago & more like Canteen Food with plenty of Green Beans (seasonal vegetables). -
Southampton was too expensive & I would suspect that Portsmouth lured Saga with a Long Term Contract at good rates.

Informed yesterday by Saga HQ that E Brochure should be sent out in the next two weeks. Over two weeks ago a flyer stated "2025 Cruises coming soon" but I suppose so is Christmas!.

The MDR Menus used are the same for all Ships. -
It usually shows up on your "My Booking" approx 2 weeks before your cruise but it could be as late as when to Book in on departure.
