What excursion is worth losing a day and a half on board the ship for?! And having to pay for accommodate\ions and transportation to catch up with the ship. Hey, something might happen and the skip that port so now you are doing it all over for another port. My suggestion: rethink doing that excursion.

And what advantage would this be, other than making more work for themselves on a vacation?! (That's beyond the question of who gets it and how much!)

It is only 67 ft longer than the Edge and Apex (6.7%) , and only 24 ft longer than the Reflection; not sure if that makes a big difference.

We were on the Beyond in November 2022 and I read about all the banging noises, but we only experienced it a little bit on one night. We had fairly calm waters so I don't know why it clanged occasionally that one night. We were on deck 11 aft.

We were in Concierge on our last cruise and asked for a bottle of red wine instead of the bottle sparkling wine you get. Our cabin steward, bless his heart, brought us a nice Merlot... and chilled it in an ice bucket! 😄

In Ft. Lauderdale last month we were at terminal 25 and there was an area assigned Buber/Lyft pickups, away from taxis and buses.

Sorry, I did not come back to this thread for a while. I Brooklyn is similar to a Manhattan. A Brooklyn is made with dry vermouth and with Amer Picon - which is not always easy to find. Nico was one of the bartenders at Eden. When I mentioned the Brooklyn, he was intrigued (he was very into mixing cocktails) and he did some research. I don't remember what he used as a substitute for Amer Pico. We had many a nightcap there with him and Tatiana behind the bar.

Was it kinda raspy? If so, then yes, the Beyond's. Terrible horn. We sailed on her a few weeks ago.

ON Nov 4th we disembarked from the Beyond in Port Everglades and also had a 10 AM fight (I know!). We were lucky in that we were one of the first ones off the ship at 6:47 AM and were at the airport gate by 7:55 AM.

Just missed a zoom on the Oosterdam in Miami of PTZtv.

Apex's horn is almost as bad as the Beyond's! 😮 We were on the Beyond leaving NY/NJ on October 26th and that horn was sad as we passed under the bridge.

That's odd with only 6 ships there. (Correction: 7) Here she is in Miami, the ship in the middle.

We were ably to drink a variety of bourbons and whiskeys at the Eden Bar. I even got Nico to make be a Brooklyn cocktail twice!
