  1. Reflection was just in Key West Apr 27. We were supposed to leave at 4 with all aboard at 3:30 but with the winds they broadcast that morning leaving early so all aboard was at 2:30 (the daily left in our cabin the night before still had 3:30 all aboard on the front page). Bimini Apr 28 we were supposed to arrive 8 am but docked late and weren't cleared until about 8:38.  So be aware port arrival/departure can change day of.

  2. Just another agreement that the water on board is fine to drink. I bring a water bottle and then use a glass in the Oceanview Cafe multiple times to fill it up - they don't want you to fill directly into your own container - or fill from bathroom sink. For a regular water drinker the lemonade in the Oceanview is also a nice change and I find tasty. They have juice at breakfast - had grapefruit each morning last cruise as don't drink that at home either.

  3. Just off the Apr 26 Reflection 3 nighter and there were kids right next to me! Family of 4 with a 10 year old daughter and 4 year old son. We talked several times on the balcony. First night the kids woke me up. Sounded like they were bouncing off the walls. Nice family (they apologized the next morning) although the son apparently riles things up. As a solo in my concierge off the hump cabin I thought they did pretty well with 4 of them in the same space. Seemed like more kids on board. I generally find them amusing.

I love Coco Cay. Can definitely handle Reflection and the largest RC ship. There was plenty of space before the new adult only Hideaway Beach section opened up. I haven't been to Hideaway and won't be paying to go. Plenty of shaded loungers elsewhere.

How do you rate Reflection vs Ascent except the stateroom?

Reflection is a lovely ship and I'm happy I have another cruise booked on her in November. I think her design tweaks really make her the best of the S class.

Ascent was stunning. They were both 3 night cruises and I booked Ascent not caring to do anything in Nassau, our one port (only went ashore for about an hour to walk around). The Ascent cruise was about enjoying my first Edge ship, and I did.

    I think they're both great.

  5. I just got off Reflection first time (my 3rd S class) with one of the largest off the hump angled balconies and loved it. I like the fresh air and prefer the quiet of my own balcony and eating out there. I was on Ascent in January and loved my first Edge class... Beyond is basically identical and if you haven't tried an Edge class you might want to do that instead. There are a lot of outdoor areas, even with shade! I was in a sky suite on Ascent but I roamed the whole ship. Gorgeous. Reflection hasn't been revolutionized which means that everyone can enjoy the outdoor front areas which is also nice. And it has the best S class outdoor seating area outside the buffet with the bar on the deck above. I ate there many times as well.

  6. Agree Is it Worth It? very subjective. I paid $89 May 2022. I enjoyed it (except for the smoker lounging upwind for whom I got some help to desist) and the lunch for that price. I would go back for under $100. I haven't seen it that cheap since and I've been back and chosen not to buy.

Just checked and today they want $189 for my Nov cruise.

  7. Like everything, price varies. Currently $31/per person/per day for my April cruise. Currently undiscounted Premium WiFi is $24/per day and Premium WiFi 2 devices is $43/per day.

For SHORT (3 nights max) cruises solo it was worth it for me at times when the price dropped for the similar Royal Caribbean offering as I was going to purchase WiFi anyway and I enjoyed the welcome lunch (which I'd take out and eat up at Johnny Rocket's outside tables). Royal Caribbean delivered your carryons during the lunch to your stateroom (they didn't let you drop off early before staterooms cleared as Celebrity does).

It's a daily price for the length of the cruise and everyone over age 6 listed in the room has to purchase.

    What's Included

    • Premium Wi-Fi for two devices.
    • Complimentary room service, unlimited (waived delivery fee & gratuities)
    • Early access at the terminal. (See FAQs for more information)
    • Priority luggage delivery to staterooms.
    • Welcome lunch in the main dining room served from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm; be sure to select an early boarding time.
    • Priority departure from ship to shore in ports that require tender service.
    • Reserved seating at shows in The Theatre.
    • Express luggage service in the terminal when debarking.

    Important details and advisements

    • When you receive your SeaPass card, it will have an icon confirming your purchase of Premium Access.
    • Premium Access must be purchased prior to sailing by each guest age 6 or older assigned to the same stateroom.
    • *YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE ACCESS TO THESE BENEFITS: Before purchase, refer to your stateroom category amenities and your loyalty status to confirm.

It's still bad internet security to change back to your existing password, and even worse on their end to allow it.

If a password change had been needed it would have been bad... but in this case there was no reason for the system to be asking you to change your password... they don't know why it was asking for that for some accounts but not others. So it was basically just signing in again and confirming the password. I don't use my celebrity password on my other accounts 🙂

Celebrity (or RCG if this also includes Royal) hasn't given any indication that I've seen as to why they're requiring people to change their password. One reason could simply be that they've changing their authentication system on the back end. The other reason could be concern of compromise.

If you're "changing" your password to your old password and there's been a security compromise, you're changing your password back to the compromised password.

I called and was transferred to a department (not reservations) that said it was a system upgrade and there were issues with it and their computer folk were still looking into it but that there definitely was NOT a security breach.

One of the accounts I control never had issues with logging in and didn't require a password reset/change.
