  1. A move to even one Adult Only ship would be opposite of what is currently being pushed to book cabins with 3rd and 4ths passengers. Many of the triple and quad cabins are blocked out on cruises where they think may have substantially more kids.

The AI isn't worth it and especially now it doesn't include tips (occasionally I found a deal but it's very rare)

As a solo traveler I've found its better off doing cruise only most of the time and adding things after

Solos are unique but for doubles it's rare that it works out best to book Cruise Only than add WiFi and Drinks but many people still do it for whatever reason. I think they need to go back to a tiered offering with a more appropriate name but that also becomes too much math for people.

There have been so many complaints about this I, as a Zenith who also has complained about the policy, doubt that the complaints of a single person made the difference.  It took complaints from multiple of folks.

A new brand campaign comes out the week before the 4/17 date mentioned for this Zenith change. Purely speculating, but All Included needs to go. I don't think there will be a major shift in what they offer or how they offer it, but this may tie in with that adjustment.

thanks i just saw that.  looks like there is still a gap for reflection between thanksgiving 2025 and very end of january 2026? any idea what's going on there?

There are rotating 3/4 night cruises all the way through April 2026. Not sure why they aren't viewable on the website right now.

  5. I haven't followed if this was discussed or not but there are some adjustments coming.

    • Zenith members that book The Retreat will be able to access cruise-only rates.
    • If a Zenith has a Retreat booking they will be able to adjust to the cruise-only price in April
    • A Zenith lunch on every cruise
    • Also some priority reservation perk at Daniel Boulud restaurants on land

  7. There were several questions recently wondering where Reflection was during summer 2025 since this deployment was announced later than usual.

As expected, Reflection will do mostly 3, 4 and 5 night Caribbean routes until September 2025 then moving to 9, 10 and 11 night Southern Caribbean. There are a few longer cruises in there that may be a little more interesting. Retreat prices for the 9-11 nights are not too bad by today's standards.

    2025 dates

    8 night ABC's on April 25 and May 10

10 night Southern Caribbean on Sept 1

9 night Southern Caribbean on Sept 11 and Oct 9

9 night Southern Caribbean on Sept 20

10 night Southern Caribbean on Sept 11 and Oct 9

10 night Southern Caribbean on Sept 29 and Oct 29

11 night Southern Caribbean on Oct 18

  8. My standard (although my VV experience is very limited) is that a lot of Celebrity people would like Virgin but the group that overlaps and likes both is probably not found on this board.

They do some things very well, others could use some improvement. The whole dining reservations setup is a not good. The ship itself is definitely chopped up and odd in places, but the overall product is pretty solid. They are bumping up rates as they gain market traction so it's not the bargain it once was.

You have all made my point.

it is not worth paying Celebrity for Premium WiFi.

Premium WiFi does not match its name.

At times it is not even in existence!

You are wasting your money if you pay for it

And there we have it :classic_laugh: case closed. I've had Premium numerous times since StarLink was deployed and have never had a problem using my phone exactly as I do at home or on land in the US.

  10. I would pay attention to the timeline between the end of the S class and beginning of the E class.

Reflection was ordered in 2011 then delivered in October 2012.

Edge was ordered in December 2014 then delivered in October 2018.

Xcel, the last of the Edge Class, will be delivered tentatively November 2026.

Looking at the leadership Celebrity has in place and where they came from along with the lack of  doing anything with the older M ships, I think the next class of ships is already well into the planning phase. A new class would potentially be announced within the next ~24 months and into service in the late 2020's. At that time at least 2, likely all four, M class ships will transition out of the fleet.

S class is in need of a makeover. The ships with the original maroon and beige color scheme, the heavy damask upholstery, etc are in need of a refresh to keep in step with E class. I don't think that will happen for a few more years, potentially until Equinox or Silhouette go in for their quasi second round of Revolution and they can get back in line with a consistent look and feel. It will be interesting to see what is done with Equinox next month in dry dock.

  11. There will be a new brand campaign released in the next few weeks. We'll see which one of the many directions they choose to go with this one. This will be the first with this particular SVP of sales at the helm.

I’ve definitely had some older ones w/o an expiration date. They did limit how long you had to book in order to get the extra OBC, though

It had to have been under the old Open Passages program which ended in late 2018 to early 2019? I can't find the exact date. Celebrity used to have a document comparing the two programs when they switched to Book Now/Book Later but I can't find it either. The current Book Later certificates since at least 19 always have an expiration date. 4th bullet down under the guest info box.

  13. When I stayed in one the interior cabin was unoccupied but I can't imagine the noise level would be any different than any other room with someone next to it. The only small additional annoyance may be the first door off the hallway slamming if people weren't careful when shutting it.

The cabins themselves are in no way connected. You enter a second small hallway/corridor off the main hallway and the entrance doors to the inside and the suite are within that area.

I do not think they have expired. This was at the time when those certificates did not have a requirement of booking within 6 months. They did not have an expiration date.

I can't say I have ever seen a Book Later form that didn't have book by stipulations. The time allowed often fluctuated but I've never seen one that is truly open ended. You would have to see if a Celebrity or a TA can apply to it towards a booking to know for sure.

So do you expect the Fall 2025 Trans-Canal sailing to be released next week?

Probably. At quick glance there would only be one.

Edge, Solstice and Summit are the 3 Alaska ships for summer 2025. Summit has a 16 night eastbound canal from Los Angeles on 9/19/25, Edge and Solstice head back to the Pacific.

Interesting.  I did not see previously that Reflection was missing.  Without doing a count, it appears as though most of the ships are listed however.  And aside from Med/Europe there are regional bookings with a number of ships available in March 2026 in addition to Infinity.

This is what is available as of today. The ships with orange in the column represent there are no available departures in that given month. The number is a count of departures on that ship in the month.

Unless I am missing something in what you are saying, Europe / Med is out now through early 2026.  It would surprise me to have to wait until November or December for the summer to be released.  That would seem late.

Caribbean summer 2025 is out now and has been out for quite some time.  In fact all destinations are out through early 2026.

Summer 2025 is not yet firmed up. Reflection for summer 2025 is missing. It will be announced next week for summer Caribbean sailings (unless something drastic changes).

Med/Europe is only out through March 2026 and that is only due to the fact that Infinity is doing winter sailings from Athens. Summer Med/Europe sailings almost always go on sale late in the calendar year in November the December timeframe.

Approximately, yes. Maybe a month or so ahead so that by that timeframe the schedules are out.  It typically follows seasonal segments.  For instance March '26 is out now.

BTW we are looking for that region and timeframe as well.

    Europe/Med for summer 2026 won't be released until November/December 2024.

Caribbean summer 2025 comes out next week, which is much later than normal, but that will be it for deployment announcements until winter.
