  1. Good review we are going on the Symphony of the Seas in March 2024 which is also a six day cruise. If at all possible could you publish/post the daily compass which would be very helpful in our planning ahead of time for the shows and dinner reservations. Thank you in advance I'm sure you will enjoy your cruise.
  2. Our cruise leaves Port Lauderdale March 30 and on or near that date a large boat convention ends which means hotel rooms may be hard to find. Be aware
  3. Attached is a description of all the cabins some of which with pictures on the Allure of the Seas, hope this helps you, https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Allure-of-the-Seas
  4. No Problem, have a good weekend think about your next cruise on the Harmony, I was on it in Feb. 2022
  5. 3/4 of the way through the hyperlink I originally attached under the header what a la carte is not included. You will see the following statement: Tapas and small bites offered at venues like Vintages and The Bamboo Room are also not included in a dining package. These small bites will be priced à la carte and charged to your onboard account.
  6. Tree_skier you may be right I'm just trying to learn, I based my vintage statement on what was covered in the royal carribean blog shown below. It was written in 2022 but there have been revisions made by Royal Carribean that you are referring to that I'm not aware of. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2022/11/21/the-ultimate-guide-royal-caribbeans-unlimited-dining-package
  7. O K it is falling into place; a la carte classified restaurants (those that put a price on each menu item) you receive a $20 credit per person per day. Vintages wine bar is classified a small bites therefore therefore it is excluded from the Unlimited Food Package therefore you will be billed accordingly. The specialty restaurants are all included. RIGHT ?
  8. Hi Everybody! Going on the Symphony of the Seas at Easter week 2024 and would like some kind person to share with me the current description of what all is included in the unlimited dining package. Thank You
  9. Looking for a clean reasonably priced hotel for a pre-cruise one night stay. We are arriving approx. 7:00PM so in essence need a bite to eat and sleep. Since it is Easter weekend a lot of the usual places are pretty booked up. At this point thinking of a price range of $250-$350 tax and fees included. Has anyone stayed at the Home2 suites by Hilton ? Would like some input.
  10. For your information there is a Hyatt Place in Plantation Florida
  11. You may want to search on resort for a day https://www.resortforaday.com
  12. Just for your information we recently renewed our passport and from the time it was mailed to the time we received it (last week) it took 12 weeks almost to the day. We did not expedite just regular renewal procedure.
  13. Thank You our concern is exhaustion level lol
  14. We are starting to think about a Western European Cruise. We have cruised a number of times basically the Caribbean and Hawaii several of which have been on Royal Caribbean. First off which is a recommended month to cruise the Western Europe? Upon an initial review of cruise offerings we notice it is very port intensive so what would be a recommended length of the cruise? What would you recommend as must see cities? Since we always do our research but we are thinking of using a travel agent what are your thoughts? I'll stop for now with questions but I'm sure there will be more as I get into this new adventure.
  15. Like you we are fortunate to have a Royal Genie on an upcoming cruise and also will be on the Symphony. Cruise Critic is an excellent source of information for your cruise but I have found another good source for information is the facebook site "Royal Carribean-Star Class Cruisers" you will have to request to join with your name and date of cruise but once in most of your future Genie questions will be answered in addition to copies of the questionare your Genie will send to you in advance of the cruise.
  16. I would like some input on those cruise critic members concerning the Royal Caribbean credit Card and how you used it to get more "bang for your buck" towards an upcoming cruise. We just discovered that Royal Caribbean offers a credit card and we are investigating what is the best way to use it.
  17. Our Granddaughter will be bringing their 2 1/2 year old daughter on their cruise and was wondering if a roll away bed would be better then the sofa in a crown loft suite. Any thoughts, experiences or pictures would be helpful. THANKS in advance.
  18. When we were at Tortola a few years back we booked the Rebel Yell catamaran excursion which took you directly from the dock to White Beach (on Jost Van Dyke) which is where the Soggy Dollar Bar is located. I assume it is still in existence . A beach day at the Soggy Dollar Bar is a must; Google Search the Soggy Dollar Bar and you will see a live webcam of the Beach and water.
  19. Thanks everyone my memory has been refreshed; must be an age thing.
  20. I need a memory freshener; if you are in a sky loft suite aren't you allowed one bag of laundry to be cleaned free on your first or second day only?
  21. I believe there is no charge for room service and if I'm not mistaken free pressing of clothes the first night.
  22. Thanks my cruise is scheduled to leave 3/31/2024 it should be posted next week.
