I expect that people sailing on the inaugural (VIP) and on the first sailing (September 3) will post pictures here. I am boarding on September 13. I will take lots of pictures and happy to share them. Now, for people that will not sail on her in the near future, if you have special requests for pictures (special venues or area on the ship), feel free to ask
I would love photos of a solo cabin but if you don’t have access you won’t be able to

I’m looking forward to all the “live” threads from the first few sailings. I don’t sail until December 2023 so I’ll have to live vicariously through everyone.

My boss is on the inaugural sailing. We were chatting today about the reveals.
I know that they are still doing their freestyle cruising and they are more casual than other lines but the ship is FANCY! I may need fancier clothes for my cruise.

Nice to see some progress!

Too many families rely on the garden cafe to remove it completely. Maybe downsize it though?

Spa pass for 8 nights; $299 pre-cruise on Prima.
Comparison: BA/GA/ES/EP is $219, BL and Bliss + Encore are $249 for the same number of nights/days.
That’s not a huge jump. That works out the being about 2 hours a day to make it worth my while.

I spend a lot of time in that spa so even with the price increase it'll be worth it for me! You only had to spend an hour a day in the spa before for it to be worth what you paid.

Any word on when they may release the dining info?

The lack of information is frustrating

Did they mention if all of the stalls in the food hall are included (complimentary)? Or are they ala carte?
They didn't have any definitive answers but said it may be complimentary for breakfast and lunch

There’s was a webinar today about Viva. Not much announced that we didn’t already know from Prima. They did talk a bit more about the food hall. Basically it sounds similar to the buffet where you can create customizable small plates at the 11 different eateries.

I like the hull art on these ships. It’s very water like. I find some of the BA+ ships are too out there. I’m not a fan of Joys at all. I enjoyed Bliss and Escape but then they went very bright and modern which doesn’t match the rest.

The folks at the shipyard are slacking with the pics LOL
also NCL needs to release more info!

I like the Caribbean itinerary for Viva. Hopefully it remains the same for winter 2024. My plan is Christmas 2024.
There’s a webinar tomorrow for agents. They said they’d be talking Viva so hopefully we’ll learn something new.

I was looking to book the Prima for sometime in 2023 and to my surprise, they are only offering cruises for Nov and Dec this year, nothing further. Every other ship from Florida is available.
I’m booked on Prima in Dec 2023 out of Galveston.

yes and I wish it was enclosed.
When sitting below, you can hear everyone above including the daily Mahjong noisy games.
I forgot about that. I rarely was in there because I basically lived on the waterfront.

There’s a webinar for Partners First tomorrow. They mentioned Viva but maybe they’ll have some Prima news too!

This is what I’m looking forward to as well. It’s nice to have a water safe area that is separate from the carpet.
