I am in Miami and quite happy! Flight landed early so that made up for leaving late. It's 22 degrees here which is like 40 degrees warmer than what I left! I'm relaxing with a glass of wine at my hotel before the real fun comes tomorrow!

Not quite. I've got through customs :). I'm waiting in the terminal at Pearson to board at 12:15pm. I saw that the blizzard had ended but I wanted to make sure I made it on the boat 😄

Hello!! I don’t have plans for Vibe. Mainly because on the getaway I lived either on the waterfront or by the pool with my book. I plan on the same this time.

So excited to get out of the cold and get to the warm sunshine! Here in Ontario Canada we're experiencing a deep freeze along with most of the mid-west. We've been fortunate that we haven't had the crazy winter weather that Buffalo is getting but still its time for the sun! I'm cruising solo as always, so I'm in the studio cabins for this trip. I loved them on the Getaway so I'm sure I'm going to like them again. With this being a Super Bowl cruise, it's going to be crazy! Once again the Pats are in the Super Bowl rather than my Bills. I'm just praying that the Rams crush them! *Sorry Pats Fans*.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Miami
Day 2 & 3: Sea Days
Day 4: Tortola
Day 5: St Thomas
Day 6: Sea Day
Day 7: Nassau
Day 8: return to Siberia
Pre-departure day
Today started out rough and expensive! On Tuesday a Blizzard started in Buffalo and as of last night was still going strong. I was starting to get worried about my flight from Buffalo to FLL but thought it may clear up before Friday. This morning I woke up, turned on my news, and saw that while conditions were slightly improved, they were still questionable as to whether the weather and roads would be clear in time. I started researching other flights because I wanted to be prepared. Around 8:30 this morning I bit the bullet, cancelled my Southwest flight because they couldn't guarantee we would fly, so $700 bucks later, I'm now flying out of Toronto to Miami. So I cancelled my car rental, switched my post cruise shuttle to the right airport and told Elsa to get over her temper tantrum so I could bask in the sun.

I like that the magazine rack isn't on the headboard like it is on Getaway. It was really annoying there. I'll be staying in a studio in February so thanks for the pics :).

Shore excursions
Did you find anything that caught your eye?
Ya Viatour has a great deal on whale watching from Juneau. There's also a couple of wilderness hikes where you have a great chance of seeing bear and eagles. Don't know much about the ports and the amenities available there. May just stay in town.

Just booked on this ship this morning! Sailing on September 8, 2018!
Really looking forward to Jersey Boys...hoping some of the Toronto Cast will audition for the show :P. Looking forward to seeing many pictures of the Studio Cabins and overall look of the ship...if it turns out like the plans...it will be an amazing ship!

Thx. We did our best my friend. It was easier knowing winter at home has been one of the worst we've in a decade with quite a bit of ice and snow... Rather be in the Caribbean even in rain over that 😊
No kidding! My family is out in Vancouver and I've been saying all winter Ontario and BC have switched weather patterns.

Will be on the Oasis in one week. How was the entertainment ?
Ice show and aqua show were amazing. Definitely worth the time. Didn't see cats but listened to the piano and strings when they were in Central Park. I heard the headliner and come fly with me were great too.

We plan to book our NextCruise while on Oasis in March. In your opinion, did you get a good deal on booking Harmony (congrats on that btw)?:rolleyes:
I looked into it on board. I would have got a better deal if I had booked it then but I didn't have enough money at the time. $200 difference I think?

Were you booked in a studio cabin? If so, you only get 7.
If you were booked in a regular cabin, you should have received 14.

So for a 7 night solo cruise I should have received 14 points and not 7?

Good Morning! The sun is up, the sky is blue, and it’s 22 degrees Celsius! Finishing up my first coffee before heading upstairs to rearrange my suitcase.
Uber is coming at 10 so I can make my way to the pier. I’m sure I’ll have to wait but I’d rather wait at the pier than at the hotel. My plan, as long as the internet is good, is to post both photos and recaps. If there’s something you want to ask or see let me know. I’ll try my best to get them for you.
