  1. So about this same time next year. I hope you have better weather for your visit.
  2. She appears to be behind shipping container. Just appearing in front of it.
  3. First rainy day in Juneau - this season. At least the camera isn't panning.
  4. Eurodam approaching Thane - shouldn't be long now. And she has the closest pier to the entrance.
  5. Eurodam just inside Gastineau Channel. Kdam still maintaining distance.
  6. Eurodam passing Grand Island. K'dam is a decent distance behind her.
  7. The Juneau Harbor webcam listed in first post. Just below the live screen is a link to marinetraffic.com. There is a refresh icon in the upper right corner and scrolling moves the map in and out.
  8. Both ships are outside of Tracy Arm, Eurodam slightly in the lead. Both moving at just about the same speed.
  9. This is the 'usual' for Viking. They built their reputation on river cruises and this is a normal perk of all river cruises - no matter the line. River cruises also park right downtown - at least in Europe. They have had years of training doing this - but is it really a bargain for ocean sailing ships or just an extra reason to raise their prices?? Only the cruiser choosing a cruise can answer.
  10. And she is gone. Kdam and Eurodam on Monday.
  11. 2/3 behind Quantum already and we lost our zoom. 😞
  12. 59 F today and sunny - Are we sure this is Juneau?? 🙂
  13. There is Zaandam - coming from behind Norw Spirit.
  14. Passing Thane - should be anytime now - if we can see her around the view blockers. We do have a cameraperson, but don't know if that will really help the blockage.
  15. Zaandam in Gastineau Channel - moving 13.9 knots.
  16. Quantum otS will beat Zaandam in - blocking most of our view of Zaandam in the harbor. Same as last year. Zaandam approaching Grand Island.
  17. Thank you - tracker has her almost 14 hours stale now. Tracy Arm is about the place that the tracker usually kicks-in again.
  18. Zaandam is over 12 hours stale - will check later.
  19. Time for lunch for cameraperson? Zaandam Friday - my cheat sheet says 12:30 pm AST/4:30 EDT. Thanks to my fellow addicts, to the cameraperson for our pictures [especially the zooms]. Thanks, Leanne, for the thread.
  20. So when we are looking across the AS and CT piers, the FKL pier is an illusion that it is right behind them - it looks attached rather than not being connected at all?
