    I've seen our BHBs back out from #26 and exit the channel into the Atlantic in 20 minutes total.

    Service stop is outside of Florence SC. They gas up and also change the engineer and conductor (not sure about Auto Train though on the conductor) otherwise they run out of working/on-duty time. I know if there has been a huge delay [usually an incident on the tracks -whether nature or human caused] sometimes they will change crews earlier. This seldom has to happen.

    Well I missed it completely. I had an injection of a new medicine this morning and that has pushed everything else out of my mind. Plus it is Wednesday and the season has just started, I'll get in sailaway mode before long. 🙄 Thanks for the pictures - no toots, huh? That's a real shame.

    Roy, best wishes on your travels and cruise. I'm not in love with the Pinnacle ships but I might be able to 'suffer' for a trip/s through the new locks. lol North Florida has been having cold nights - mid to high 40s instead of the same range in the 50s.The day highs are at normal or a little higher. I'm getting tired of colder nights, not my idea of Florida fall weather.
