PEV usually doesn't turn the harbor sounds up - until the ships are ready to leave.

I thought it could be the storm - but a mechanical issue is a bigger reason. You sure don't want to head to So America/Antarctica for 73 days with a bad thruster, especially as they had an available spot in their schedule to do a repair. Thanks for the explanation.

Before Zaandam left, they were focussed on Disney - [parked next to each other] So, it looks like they were expecting her to leave first too.

View back to waiting on one of Mickey's ships. Zaandam showed up early - she was due at 8 am this morning. Last night at 2 am she was already parked. I wonder if she raced the storm down? She had come from Norfolk VA. See you all tomorrow at PEV/FLL - probably just for sailaway.

I have visited Haarlem 4 times and much prefer it over Amsterdam. One stay was three days, two days were from barge cruises [anchored right by the market square for one day] - I recognize all your picture locations. Thank you for the remembrances. I hope you have a great cruise. Bon voyage.

The end of the season for the BHBs. I plan to watch Zaandam in Port Canaveral on Friday and then again on Saturday in PEV/FLL - to start their BHB season. Thanks all for the company today. Leanne a special thanks for posting the threads all season.

Just a heads-up. I know you know Zaandam is in PEV/FLL Saturday the 7 Oct - but did you also notice she will be stopping in Port Canaveral the day before - Friday the 6th? [8 am - 5 pm]

I'll take your word for it - I was just looking at her general seasonal itinerary. I know she does Hawaii - but with Volendam already headed there - I hadn't thought they would send another so soon, so I didn't check. Thank you.

After this cruise Eurodam is headed back to FLL/PEV via the Panama Canal and Koningsdam will be headed to San Diego to do her winter west coast itineraries. Westy is here tomorrow to close out the BHBs' Alaska season. After Juneau her next stop will be a port in Japan. Same time tomorrow. I will hang around until Kdam disappears behind her sister. Thanks, Leanne, for the thread. Too bad the weather is so miserable for the pax. There goes the last of Kdam.
