Much better with this update but I'm not sure if I have a glitch. When I click on Packages, on both my upcoming cruises it shows me just the Premier details. I have Premier booked for one of them, but just Plus for the other, so I'm not sure what exactly the packages tab is telling me?

Can I buy a FCD for a person not currently on the cruise with me? I'm sailing with my daughter in a couple of months but would like to get FCD for myself and my partner ideally 🤔

It isn't working for me currently. I'm trying to make final payment, and it keeps telling me my session has expired and booting me out 🤷

Is it because of the promotion, pay the same for Premier as Plus, thus some of the benefits have been removed? Very dishonest if so....

I was told by my vacation planner yesterday that they are having problems with Gmail accounts not receiving emails, and sure enough my confirmation email hasn't come through but my booking is all good on the website so I'm not too concerned.

I'm looking for a European cruise next year and one of the options is on Iona, the other is Brittania. I'm nervous of the sheer size of Iona, but also I've just read on another thread that there was no ballroom dancing...one of our favourite things to do! Does anyone know whether there is ballroom dancing on Brittania? And any other pros or cons of each?

I've been using it on android since 2021, including right now. No problems here. I declined to update the app midcruise though...possibly for the best.

On Diamond now. Only this morning I made a purchase and was handed it in a bag.

I got an email regarding the same cruise, we bought plus in May 2022 so it literally is just WiFi, gratuities and drinks. I can't see any value in upgrading from that package for us, especially as Diamond Princess doesn't even most of the casual dining venues. To be honest I wish Princess had kept Plus at that level, I was perfect for us at that price point and level of benefit.

You are probably gambling with the risk of a price increase, other than that no downside.

I'm genuinely happy with good old fashioned dishes just as much as more modern choices, as long as they are well cooked. P&O now have my opinion on the food, for all the good it will do. I encouraged the many other people complaining around the ship to make P&O aware too. The more people point out there's a problem, the more likely they are to address it. Maybe. And there ends my P&O experience. Sad it's over in spite of the food. Looking forward to jumping back on Princess next month!

I only had one MDR breakfast, and I did that for Eggs Benedict. Regretfully there was no Eggs Benedict 😕

I returned a prawn cocktail on Princess that came with a very red sauce that tasted like pure tomato ketchup. Horrible! And I usually praise Princess food.

In all honesty it's not great. More often than not the food is overcooked and under seasoned. I've had cold dry lumpy mash, apple strudel in the form of sponge cake with apple on top, and cold custard atop blistering hot pudding. But I didn't have to shop, cook or wash up so I'm taking the win. The food is definitely a hot topic of conversation on this ship though. The beach house meal was delicious. But for vegetarians, if they don't eat fish, it could be a problem.

If you get there early you should be fine getting seated immediately, we have been. I can't speak for later arrivals. I will say though having had a table for 2 once, it's not worth the trouble. They still seat in blocks and serve them as though you were at the same table, and you are as cosy as if you were sharing a table. Gone are the days of social distancing! Luckily we've always been seated with lovely people and had enjoyable conversations.

The app is pretty limited use to be honest. I've used it to book extra charge restaurants but there's never ever the ability to join the "virtual queue" for the MDR. It has its uses, but mealtime planning isn't one of them on Ventura. I wandered past one of the MDRs earlier and snapped the me I on display outside. It is black tie night so this isn't an every day menu, and the Signature dishes aren't shown.

I'm dining in the Beach House tonight, but tomorrow I will take pics.

I'm on Ventura right now and the compliments for the food are quite something. Just last night in the main dining room I heard "it's fine", "it's edible", "it's not horrible" and "it could have been worse" 😂 (Nobody was eating the extra cost menu to be fair. It's possible that the Signature choice is wonderfu!)
