Yes, short cruises are not as costly. But, we do longer cruises 30+ days, so it is a huge difference. Seems as they are also pushing shorter cruises recently. Blocking off rooms for choices on the long portion, as opposed to the shorter portions, where there was a lot of availability. It used to be that b2b’s would add up to about the same price as the full cruise. Not so much now with the new cruises coming out 24/25.

Did you try to book one day at a time on the App? If that doesn’t work, go onto the website, and click on the “Try our website version of the App.” (Right below the Google App bar.) See if that opens any other MDR. Usually, 2 out of 3 are open. Unless, one is booked already, check closer to date.

I wouldn’t call it non revenue generating. We have 113 nights booked in the next year and it is thousands of dollars. We are not on free casino cruises. I’m surprised they are not charging extra for those or make them purchase the beverage packages. Adding the beverage package would add an additional $13,000-$18,000 to our trips. It may be “Exciting and New,” but “I’m not feeling the love.” There are a lot of people who can’t or don’t want to drink.

So on the App and room service they charge for Alfredo’s/Gigi’s? Are they now charging for RS for everyone or just frogs, I mean steerage? In person, no fee? Maybe we need to pause too. 😩 Lots of changes in August.

Well, this frog cannot do the beverage package. I’d drown. Hey, I think this is the continual push for an all inclusive cruise experience. Not everyone drinks or can drink that much to make it worth it.

And Alfredo’s is just pizza, whereas Gigi’s has more courses. Wonder is Alfredo’s will add more choices to menu. Or, how about Alfredo’s by Gigi? Sad 😞. Again, it’s all about the money.

It may be a glitch? I didn’t do the beverage package. Yesterday it was off and on for my TA. Lots of crashes. Do you have a TA/CVP that could check this for you?

That sounds like old tour packages or fly and drive packages for Europe that were offered years ago. The hotel or car portions were considered throw away packages. Very old package concept. Interesting… I’ve not seen any feedback. OP might post a question on the old thread Or hopefully, someone will answer here.
