  1. It appeared all ships had the large double decker tenders. We even loaded on two decks but unloaded from one deck. Not a lot of waiting just the port was packed.
  2. Tomorrow's Daily. Today got away from me so tomorrow is it.
  3. If you get Sydney as your bus guide you are in luck. Tons of knowledge with humor.
  4. Thanks Roy. Our bus guide said 4 big ships tomorrow over 20k. If we are the only ones we can have the nice shopping port to ourselves. Nice waterside restaurants too. Yes it will be 2/20. Four days left on our cruise. Will keep our boat ride. 🐵🐊🐒🦜
  5. Good afternoon. We are back from crazy Belize. Three other ships in port made for crazy congestion at the port. Our tour was lovely but I am going to cancel my next Belize tour in February because it was too busy there and also long tender rides. We went to Amon Ra ruins. I am not going to get to my Corinto photos but will share one of the memories of a lifetime when our last group of passengers heading into the gift shop were attacked by Africanized (killer) bees. Several were so badly stung they had to go home. Dixie @summer slope I recall you said you were on the tour too. All the beautiful photos and a more complete story would be in one of the links Sandi attached.
  6. Here is a photo of ours on the Eurodam. It makes serviceable coffee for morning on the balcony.
  7. We did another HA shore excursion because we had never been to Belize before. The tour was great but there were four ships in port all requiring tendering. It was a zoo at the port area. I have another HIA excursion in February and I will cancel. Not worth the hassle. Today we took a bus the the recently excavated ruins, Amon Ra. It was an hour drive each way and we were served a simple meal away from the ruins. It was not crowded at the ruins and both our bus guide and the park guide were excellent.
  8. We did take a dip. The fish are rather shy and could hardly inject a tossed shrimp. Thanks for your comments!
  9. Good morning everyone. Hail to the Victors U of Michigan! Thanks for the congratulations Sandi. I bet you can't wait for that amazin blue sweatshirt. I made it to 27 - 13 and had to turn it off. We woke at 5:50 and got the last minute and the celebration. We have to be the world stage in less than two hours for a bus ride to a ruins and Belize City. I have wonderful photos of our tour in Corinto Nicaragua but they are on my laptop. If I can switch wifi later I will post them.
  10. Our day at Turquoise Bay on Roatan Island. We splurged on an over water bungalow and we had a perfect day for it.
  11. @Crazy For CatsI am so sorry you lost your beautiful Amelia. 😿 We left Roatan right on time and will get to Belize City early to beat the 4 other ships going to be in port. We will have earlier shore excursions tomorrow too. Enjoying the Michigan game in our cabin. Go Wolverines!
  12. Yesterday's Mariner wine tasting. Still featuring the elusive Meomi.
  13. Tonight's MDR menu. We had shrimp crostini, lasagna and NY Strip.
  14. Playing catch up. A nice day at Turquoise Bay resort.
  15. We were caught. Go early and divide in multiple bags may help, just saying
  16. Heading into Roatan Honduras. An early start for us as we have a HA shorex to a resort.
  17. Dinner in the Pinnacle Grill last night. First time this trip. We brought 7 special bottles of wine from home and paid the $20 each. We had a 1995 Beringer Private Reserve we bought a case of for $35 a bottle in 1996. Well aged it was wonderful. John had mushroom soup, I had steak tartare for starters. John had filet and I had the supplement Aged Delmonico. Both yummy. John's baked potato unremarkable and just warm. No desserts.
  18. Good morning and thank you for the daily reports. We are on our way into Honduras still at sea. A big shore excursion to a beach resort. Leaving early, I hope they have wifi.
  19. Cooked potatoes kept too long and not hot can cause Bacillus cereus bacteria to overgrow and perhaps that was the source of your problem. We had a problem with cool, dry spuds on the Volendam last year.
  20. @kazu @rafinmd @JazzyV @cat shepard @summer slope and @dfish Well Cruise Critic is putting me to the test today. It kept bringing up my previous content so I deleted all but the bubbles and they won't delete so thanks once more for all you contributions. @RMLincoln thanks for sharing your new view, very pretty.
