  1. Good morning from Falmouth Jamaica. Thank you for the lovely photos Sandi! We are going ashore for a while today. Last year we had a different berth and there was a Jamaican government warning about crime so we stayed aboard. Bon voyage @Suslor! 🍾🏝️🛳️
  2. Celsius SB. Glad you are enjoying following along. Yes chili rellenos are the best.
  3. Our menu tonight in Tamarind. I hope the screenshots come through cropped properly.
  4. Sandi, thank you for the photos of South Georgia Island. What an experience! Lenda, I love the last cartoon. I tell my doctor I drink only one glass per day. 🍷Here is what will be in our glasses until it's gone. New wine list with no Meomi wine. 😿
  5. Meomi is no longer on the wine list. We may have the last stash on the ship. I ordered the eight bottle package and we enjoyed one last night. Cheers! 🍷
  6. Our door art, we will add a sticker after each port. Any Texas Holdem aficionados there was a full game in the old gallery bar, now mostly part of the casino.
  7. Today's activities. Barbie at 3 pm in the World Stage. Captain's welcome at 7:15. Captain Joost Eldering. It may be gala night because we have a towel animal and chocolates. We are dining in Tamarind tonight. Happy hour has reappeared for the first time this cruise. One hour at Billboard.
  8. Final reminisce for now of horse back riding. This time in Malaga Spain. HA shorex.
  9. Back to my horseback riding memories. Puerto Aisen (caveat port name may be wrong) Chile. Beautiful scenery and wine and food afterwards.
  10. I will share some previous cruise horseback riding experience on previous cruises. My first HA horseback riding excursion was in Skagway and it was a ride to a scenic valley. The horses were very wide draft horses and the side by side movement was rather hard on my back but the valley was absolutely beautiful. The next time was in Spain in a town near Malaga September 2018 and we rode beautiful Andalusian horses. The scenery was beautiful. Next was last January in Puerto Aisen and we left the port and headed out into the mountain district. It was windy and rainy off and on, I wore my reusable plastic raincoat over my jacket, it served the purpose. My last ride before yesterday was a story I will tell for the rest of my life. In Buenos Aires I did riding on the Pampas and it was during a spell of extreme heat. We rode retired polo ponies and this was a very different ride. It went for over two hours and the guide said I could go fast if I chose, that was a change. The problem was the heat. After an hour and a half I said to my friend I was going to have to bail out and have the promised vehicle pickup, she was going to do the same thing. They gave us a bottle of water to drink that I poured on my head I was that hot. Finally after laying in the ditch on mowed off agaves the truck showed up 30 minutes later. We passed the rest of riders still riding. I went inside and ran my head under the tap. After that I looked at AccuWeather and it was 105 degrees. Photos are of Argentina adventure. Me trying to cool off. The wonderful barbecue after the ride and our group taking off. I will try find the rest in a while.
  11. When I go horseback riding I always think of the horses on HMC. Here is the bag of treats I brought for them. I cut them up because they drop whole apples into the sand. Our bag we received in our cabin. No CO bag.
  12. A few photos of the Crow's Nest by the shore excursions area. Shore excursion line forms early.
  13. The drink menu from the Ocean Bar. They still list the Penicillin cocktail but I haven't checked to see if they have the advertised Laphroaig. The Sauvignon Blanc we didn't care for was Celsius.
  14. Good morning, we are off the East Coast of Cuba this morning on our way to Falmouth Jamaica tomorrow. It is cloudy and warm and our cabin is now very comfortable. Even with the heat outside we have our setting at the hallway point, right in between blue and red. I have many photos to catch up on but will share our dinner last night. Two of HA menu favorites were on offer last night so I had two mains for dinner. I had chilli rellenos for a starter and pork belly with sweet potatoes as my main. John had seafood deviled eggs and CO special jambalaya. He finished it off with a heavenly red velvet cake. We were given a 5 pm table that we really like. I hope we keep it for the duration but I think our waiter friend is trying to get us back on deck 3. I hope we can stay here. It was in a quiet area with unfilled big 8 or 10 tops. Our food came quickly and hot. Have a nice Friday.
  15. Good morning everyone and happy Friday. Normal great wifi is a little shaky with CC this morning, therefore I am stuck in bold. We are off the East Coast of Cuba on our way to Falmouth tomorrow. Thanks for the daily and care reports each day. Prayers for everyone needing them. We had a nice dinner last night with two of my regular HA menu favorites. I had chilli rellenos for a starter - it is a main and pork belly with sweet potatoes. John has seafood deviled eggs and the CO jambalaya. Have a lovely Friday.
  16. Riding was excellent. I had planned on just doing the land portion but rough seas took away the in the sea experience. So we rode longer. Few pictures of the sights, that will be next. Our guide Mario took videos and photos of all of us. The HA photographer was there too.
  17. I heard OBJ and Zay were sitting out too. Still should be a good game. Go Ravens! I asked our concierge onboard the headcount. She looked at her screen, hemmed and hawed and said 2000. Take it with a grain of salt. 🧂
  18. Good morning. We are sitting on our balcony waiting for our stewards to finish up. We are still underway so I think the 9:30 tender will be later than that. Thanks for the daily reports @kazu! Thanks for the cares and celebrations lists @JazzyV. Prayers for everyone needing them and for the people in war zones and the hostages. I will be heading ashore soon. We had breakfast in the PG and ran into our friend Richard who is President's Club and had a nice visit with him after saying farewell a when we got off the Volendam in March. We found out that the Carnival stock onboard credit only is one person per cabin, thankfully it went to me. I am the spender. It put a dent in the 8 bottle wine package 2. For some reason they didn't want to send it to our room. I hate waiting for beverage service in the MDR. I asked the concierge how many aboard she looked it up and hemmed and hawed and said 2000 so take that with a grain of salt. Mariner reception 6-6:30 at the Lido pool, right smack in the middle of dinner hour. We will pass. Have a lovely day! Nancy
  19. Clearing skies and 75 degrees. Meanwhile our cabin is a freezer.
