    Good evening. It has been a mild 54°F on the North East coast of England today. We got a Starbucks take away and sat overlooking the North sea eating our Banana loaf and drinking coffee. It is like sitting on our ships aft balcony and so relaxing. I hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend.

    Happy 98th birthday in heaven for your dad Karen.

    My dad was like that when my mam died and kept his thoughts to himself even though I called at his house twice a day. He died 4 months later. I think posting on here with our friends helps us open up a bit. We decided to get a Starbucks take away and drive to the beach. It is 12°C so we sat looking out to sea like we do on our balcony on a ship.

    My hip,knee and foot arthritis make me feel my age 67 but hopefully Pauline keeps me dressed young and I think young. This was in our hotel last week.
