  1. I'm sorry to hear this Sue. Best wishes for a complete recovery for John and hopefully you manage to find a solution with your mam.
  2. Good afternoon. It is 50°F and partly sunny. I had a haircut this morning and had a coffee overlooking the North sea. For @Ocean Boy if you enlarge the photo you will see a lighthouse at the end of the pier.
  3. I'm sorry to hear about your fall and bad reaction to your flu jab Lenny. Please take care my friend. My late dad fell and hit his head while in hospital and died shortly afterwards.
  4. Great news Phil. I'm really pleased for you. I had a haircut this morning and had a coffee overlooking the sea.
  5. Prayers 🙏 sent for Jim. Hopefully he is okay Terri.
  6. Thank you Rich for today's daily reports. I had a haircut this morning then a coffee overlooking the sea so I'm a little late posting. Guinness is the most popular Stout. I hope everyone is safe and well and prayers 🙏 for those who need them.
  7. Sandi @StLouisCruisers. Excellent photos of Liverpool. We had a 3 night hotel stay August 19-22 2020 in Liverpool when masks were compulsory and saw all of the sights you have shown. I looked for a few different photos. We got a Ferry Across The Mersey as in Gerry and the Pacemakers song which was close to the cruise terminal.
  8. Good morning. It is 9°C, calm, partly cloudy and no rain expected today. I hope everyone is safe after storm Ciaran.
  9. I absolutely agree Roy @rafinmd We all have a lot to be grateful for what Rich @richwmn does for this thread. I'm sure we all don't get everything right all of the time,I know I don't.
  10. I'm sorry to hear your husband won't do the sensible thing and get an x-ray Terri but it is for his own good. Some of us men can be stubborn but tell him or show him my post Pauline insisted I went to A&E(ER) when I had unusual chest pain in December 2019 and it saved my life because they did 2 blood tests because they misplaced the first 1 but they then found the first test and my heart enzymes were much higher in the second blood test so my initial mild heart attack could have been fatal if I had not been in coronary emergency care.
  11. Thank you my good friends for your kind words to me today on my lovely late mam's 12th memory. Paulines dear mams funeral was 5 years today. I met Pauline 45 years ago today which was a Thursday too. God bless you all. Graham.
  12. Thank you. Good news on baby Murphy and your operation being brought forward to the 20th.
  13. Tips are included in the fare. You do not need to tip anyone and most people will not because P&O sell the cruise as No Tips required so if you want to give a tip to your cabin Steward or waiter just hand the cash to them and thank them for looking after you.
  14. Thank you for your kind words Sharon. I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt's passing. I hope you have a fantastic holiday.
  15. Thank you Lenda. All of the books of remembrance inside the memoriam room are open on today's date.
  16. Thank you Joy. Your sentiments are much appreciated by us both.
  17. Thank you Sandi. My mam was very kind and was loving to Pauline as well. She loved to cook and we have a photo of her in our kitchen. She died 2 month's after her metastatic cancer diagnosis. Like Pauline's late mam we miss them both dearly every day.
