Pauline eats my blackcurrant lolly in Epicurean. 🍭 I eat almost all of the chocolates at the table.😋

This was on our Norwegian Fjords cruise in June. We experienced the midnight sun every night.

The 2 days he came into our cabin he left extra biscuits etc. He always left his trolley near our aft balcony cabin and I took what we needed. I appreciated our cabin steward leaving us alone and he was always friendly when we saw him so I didn't mind giving him a £20 tip.

There was plenty of biscuits,tea,coffee etc in a drawer on his trolley. I took some as he was only in our cabin twice but I wasn't greedy. When I saw him he gave me a handful of biscuits.

We prefer our cabin steward to leave us alone so we let him in twice during our 7 nights cruise to keep him right with his boss. I got our towels off his trolley,plus tea and coffee satchets and biscuits and put our used towels in a container in the corridor Our cabin steward was pleased to leave us alone as he seemed a little stressed especially on crew drill days with all the cabins he had but was always nearby in the mornings if we needed anything.

Free tea and coffee in Epicurean and Sindhu when we were on Britannia June 2-9. Graham.

Good afternoon. It is cloudy and 70°F now at 14.49pm. Just booked a cruise for 2025.

Thank you Rich for today's daily reports. It is sunny and 68°F here at 11.45am. We both like a Pina Colada while on a ship. Kittens are cute and sadly so many are abandoned. I was put on a Beta blocker after my heart attack over 3 and a half years ago. They are excellent for reducing stress and heart rate. I hope your stressful situation is solved quickly to your satisfaction. Graham.

There is a 1000 metres+ outside promenade deck to walk around on Deck 8 which covers the full circumference of Iona and lots of sunbeds and seats on all open decks Gill. Deck 8 balconies are the only negative because of the lack of privacy from the promenade deck.

HAL Rotterdam and Discovery Princess come into the above category of ships where the panels are being recalled. Germany,Italy, Finland and France shipyards are the main shipbuilders and the EU has very strict safety rules. Meyer werft shipyard in Papenburg Germany built P&O Iona and Arvia and a number of Royal Caribbean ships reportedly used the same panels.

Several shipyards have used the panels in question for new build and refurbishment. They were given fire certificates at the time so hopefully it's just New Builds that might be affected as new panels are sourced.

HAL Rotterdam and Discovery Princess were 2 named Carnival ships.
