Twice F728 for us. No soot issues when we were on August 2021 and April 2022.

We had an aft cabin next door to where you are booked on a 3 night cruise Sarah. Because it had stag/ hen parties on board the lounge we could hear some noise until around 3am. We spoke to the hotel manager and got an acceptable extra OBC and he acknowledged on the short booze cruises the lounge is open very late On a traditional 7 night cruise we had the same cabin and after 11pm it was quiet Fantastic balcony views and cabin.

Fred Olsen cruise lines who have a couple of former HAL ships in their fleet including Bollette formerly Amsterdam are the main small cruise line to do around Britain cruises and home port in Newcastle(15 miles from us) Liverpool and Southampton. Princess cruises also do a few Around Britain cruises but they are newer/larger ships and sail from Southampton. Father David lives in the vicarage about 40 metres from the church. If we are not away ourselves we would happily meet up. Premier Inn Hotel Royal Quays is about 400 metres from Newcastle cruise terminal and next to a shopping outlet if you sailed from Newcastle and needed 1 or 2 nights pre cruise stay.

Starbucks are on Royal Caribbean larger ships. Greggs are everywhere now including conveniently near the check ins at Newcastle Airport.

200 metres from McDonald's is a brand new food park with Greggs. Starbucks. Burger King. Kentucky fried chicken.
