The last time was 10 years ago with Pauline's late mam. The foldable wheelchair was great and it went into the airplane hold. The airport staff used their own wheelchair to transport her to a holding disabled lounge and put her mam and us on the plane in a motor vehicle in a mobility lift. We bought the wheelchair at a mobility store.

We got a foldable wheelchair for Pauline's late mam and took her on several cruises with us after Pauline's dad died. She wasn't sure at first but loved being wheeled around as her mobility was limited and all the things they bought in port's went on the wheelchair too. Her last cruise was on her 90th birthday.

Please don't worry Maureen. I have had an epiretinal membrane removed and 2 cataracts removed with intraocular lens (IOL) put in and had no pain during the operations and I was delighted with the results. Graham.

When Pauline and I were on Royal Caribbean Splendour of the seas in October 2014 we went into the Diamond loyalty lounge during nightly free drinks. In a corner was an English and German man all by themselves. Pauline being very chatty said hello to them and they explained they spend most of their time in their cabin except for 2 and a half hours during the nightly free drinks in the Diamond loyalty lounge. They said they had experienced prejudice from some crew towards them. We chatted with them most nights before dinner and had a good time. For a few years after the cruise we received and sent emails to each other. It is sad and wrong that people should discriminate against other people. Graham.

Good morning. It was 26°F and frosty when I took Pauline to work this morning. I saw my muscular skeletal doctor this morning and he has booked me in for knee injections next week and referred my hip issues to the hospital. Thank you Sandi @StLouisCruisers for your dedication to this thread and introducing the daily reports. It is 60 years since I last scribbled although my hand writing is not as neat these days.
