  1. Thank you for today's lists Roy and my inclusion. We had a lovely lunch today. Christmas decorations at the restaurant. Graham.
  2. Good afternoon. Thank you for today's daily reports. Interesting days. Prayers 🙏 for everyone on the care list. Just about to order lunch. Take care. Graham.
  3. There are better anticoagulants with less side effects than Aspirin. Aspirin is cheap and effective but can cause stomach and brain bleeding. I was prescribed Lanzoprazol after my heart attack to protect my stomach with having to take Aspirin. The type of cardiac stent I had meant I had to take an additional blood thinner for 12 month's after my heart attack (nstemi). I am thinking of you both Lenda and pray Steve does not have any permanent heart damage and his recovery can progress. Sincerely. Graham.
  4. That is excellent news they found the clots before they could cause any heart damage. Thrombolytics are used to dissolve clots quickly. I am on a low dose 75mg Aspirin daily for life to prevent blood platelets clotting and I would expect your husband will be put on blood thinners. Take care. Graham.
  5. I'm so sorry Lenda. Our prayers 🙏 for your husband. Raised enzymes was the only indication of my heart attack. Hopefully the doctors will clear the blood clot and thankfully swift action may prevent any permanent heart damage.🤞
  6. Happy to hear your op went well. It is good you have a great cruise to look forward to.
  7. Thank you for today's lists and my mention Roy. Graham.
  8. Good afternoon from an overcast North East England. I have been out doing a couple of sales calls so late posting. Thank you for the daily reports. I am ready for a cappuccino now. Good luck in today's elections to those voting. Food sounds interesting today. We went to Bonaire during our first Caribbean cruise in January 2007 on Crown Princess. I hope everyone has a nice day. Graham.
  9. Thank you everyone for your concern and excellent advice. My GP said he would leave it up to me and he would refer me when I was ready. He agreed with me at 66 might be too young as he said the hip replacements last only 10-15 years.
  10. The GP doctor refers patients to hospital and the specialists there make the decision. I have had physio previously and it is an option.
  11. Thank you Vanessa. I hope your discomfort after eating breakfast is nothing serious. Take care. Graham.
  12. Thank you all for your good wishes. Arthritis in my hips is moderate/severe. Joint stiffness and little flexibility is the main issue. Doctor not keen on giving hip steroid injections.
  13. Good evening. I had an appointment with my musculoskeletal doctor this morning to discuss my hip x-ray's. Not good news with an op an option but I will delay that as long as possible. I hope everyone is well.
  14. I'm pleased your daughter got the all clear from her skin check. That must have been a worrying time when you had the melanoma diagnosis Sandi and I'm happy for you that it was caught early and sorted. Graham.
  15. Thank you Katherine. Sending you both our love and very best wishes for a successful surgery and recovery for your husband today. Graham and Pauline x
  16. Thank you for today's lists Roy while you are on vacation. Graham.
