Thank you for today's lists and my mention on the shout-out and celebrations list Roy. I had keyhole surgery on this knee over 10 years ago for a torn cartilage and it was okay until about 9 month's ago when I missed the bottom stair at home and my whole weight fell on to this knee. So far I have been almost pain free and the movement has been a lot better since the steroid injection on Thursday afternoon. Graham.

Good afternoon from a sunny but windy 66°F in our garden in North East England. Just about to have lunch in our garden Room. Thank you for today's fleet reports and Daily Rich. Never stayed in a log cabin but I'm sure they will be nice and cozy. We are not big drinker's so a bar tender and mixologist are not high on our lists. True quote. Nice food but never tried the drink. Prayers for everyone who they can help. Happy to hear Sandi @StLouisCruisersand her husband are both free from quarantine and hopefully able to enjoy the rest of their cruise.

Last September on Iona Epicurean we asked at the dining desk and got Epicurean half price on the first night In March on Iona we went to the dining desk and there was no discounts in Epicurean. Epicurean then was £28pppn but £22pppn paid on line before the cruise which we booked on line for Pauline's birthday meal. Our 8.5% peninsular discount was also taken off the on line price automatically. We ended up going to Epicurean 7 nights out of the 14 night cruise.

I agree Selbourne. Epicurean is our main night time dining venue on P&O. With Covid restrictions on our last 5 cruises since August 2021 we have only allowed our cabin steward in our cabin 1-2 times during the cruise to change bedding. I have collected clean towels and put used towels in a basket left in the corridor for this reason. We use all our own toiletries and the cabin stewards have given me packs of toilet rolls when I have asked. Previously we always felt hurried to get out of our cabin to let the cabin steward in but now it is so more relaxing. Graham.

I agree. I would never look down on another person and I'm sure no one on here would do either. We eat lots of cod,haddock and sea bass but neither of us have ever eaten a fish head. Graham.

I have read this before and why I never contacted P&O. Strange then if it is the card company why this did not happen with Royal Caribbean in May but happened on P&O on our March and April cruises.

MasterCard told me to contact P&O when I queried the notifications of daily authorisations affecting my available balance after our bill was paid immediately on leaving the ships. It happened on Iona in March It happened on Britannia in April. It did not happen on Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas in May. I use a credit card so it doesn't bother me personally unless I am actually charged twice.

It doesn't show on your credit card statement Jean. No money is taken off your card until the end of your cruise but the daily authorisation is showing from your available balance until 30 days after your cruise ends so in effect you are paying twice until P&O retract the daily authorisations. I always use a credit card which is the best way imo but anyone using a Debit card might encounter problems with Direct Debits etc if their available balance is reduced by the daily authorisations and they don't realise this. I only realised after putting the credit card app on my phone and saw all the daily notifications and my available balance was reduced by the daily authorisations. Graham.

Yes. Over 700 BA check in staff and baggage handlers have voted to strike at the peak of the school summer holidays in July and August over pay although no dates announced yet.
