Excellent response. I feel like we are being pushed into buying Electric cars especially if combustion engines are no longer going to be made in the future. Self charge Hybrid's are a better proposition than all electric but it would be much better to refine cleaner petrol and cleaner engine emissions. I drive 320 miles to Southampton for our cruises and have the same drive home so most electric cars would not get us there non stop. When driving at night or in rain with windscreen wipers on or having the heating or air conditioning on in our cars are all going to drain the batteries meaning less driving range without charging.

Our last 5 cruises and our next 5 booked cruises are on P&O from Southampton England. If HAL sailed from Southampton I would be one of the first to book. Dover is not an option for us.

The Premier Inn at West quay Harbour parade actually advise their guests you can park there while cruising. It is £6 per night. We have parked there with no issues for several cruises. Your car registration is recognised and is on your parking ticket. I hope you have an amazing cruise on Iona.

It's always a nice feeling to book another cruise. We booked another Mediterranean cruise on Wednesday. I hope you are enjoying your new job.

Our last 3 cruises November 2023, January 2024 and March 2024 have all been on Iona John. 35 nights in total all but 1 in the speciality restaurants. I believe you are on Arvia John so I will be interested how the speciality restaurants are on there. I hope you and Gail have a wonderful time.

Beach house cover charge has 20% deducted on line Andy. Good luck in getting it sorted. Online for Sindhu you pay £10pp less loyalty discount. Every food item is individually charged and the £20 comes off your total bill less 20% discount when paying your bill. Epicurean is £30 less 20% online and your loyalty discount is taken off too.

Electric cars and Hybrid cars are being heavily promoted in England. The lack of Electric chargers,increased cost of Electric cars and the short driving distances of 250-350 miles between charges means I am unlikely to buy an Electric car.

When you book Speciality restaurants online you automatically get a 20% discount off. Any peninsular loyalty discount also comes off additionally when booking online. Most of the food is included in this Cover charge in the Beach house but some items have an additional supplement to this price and you pay this on your sea pass account.
