Hi Jake, can't wait to hear all about her!
-
I usually sleep on the sofa bed but I like a hard bed. Never had an issue getting to sleep and I am not a person who easily falls asleep
-
Looks nice!

There is a Community Bulletin Board, usually near Guest Services, where you can post notices.
I didn't know that, thanks!
Are you Bob or Clarea? I am confused

There is nothing like the feel of a real BOOK in your hand, not a tablet.
I wonder if there would have been any way to post a "WTB/Trade books" anywhere onboard? If not, I would simply have spied on book readers and found one that had a book that looked interesting to you. Then go up to them, explain your issue, and ask if they have a backup book you can buy/lend/trade for. Us bibliophiles would have felt your pain and been glad to help :)

http:// cruiseadvice. org/CruiseShips /SwimmingPool.aspx?ShipName=adventure+of+the+seas
The Adventure of the Seas has 2 separately designated pool areas. There is the "Solarium" pool area, which is "adults only" pool; it is flanked by two whirlpools. The Main pool area is separated by a bridge that leads to the pool bar. All pools are salt water, and are located on Deck 11. Starboard and aft of the midship pool area is Splashaway Bay on the Adventure of the Seas. Water cannons, waterfalls, waterslides, and drench buckets are in this bay. Have fun!
The Perfect Storm, which consists of dual racing waterslides called the Cyclone and Typhoon, is located on Deck 13. This deck is also where you will find the Flowrider on the Adventure of the Seas!
Babies & Infants in Pools: Royal Caribbean's official policy is "no swim diapers, children must be potty trained." The Adventure Ocean Program stresses this point to all the families that bring their kids. We have not heard reports on whether the policy is strictly enforced.

Just a rip in the fabric and it wasn't preexisting. We cant prove that they did it, didn't take pictures of our luggage, but I am sure this sort of thing happens regularly.

My sister dropped off her luggage at the docks and it was loaded onto the ship for her. When it got to her room, there is a rip in it.
Should she report it now, while on the ship? Should she report it afterwards?

Thanks for any help. I know that most cruise lines in most specialty restaurants, you can only order 1 "main" dish at a specialty restaurant but you can order as many appetizers/desserts/sides/ ect. as you like. Is this the case with Royal Caribbean in their specialty restaurants Chops, Uzumi (sp), Giovanni's table and and Johnny Rockets?
Thanks again!

Thanks for all the gambling tips but I was specifically looking for things like when to gamble, any deals that the cruise line will offer ect. I think they have been answered so thanks all!
That said, if you all want to keep giving each other gambling hints, please feel free obviously.

Double thanks to Clarea, she seems to know everything and be VERY helpful!
Thanks!

Yes, one is an "explosion" and the other is a standard combustion... the only differences are in degrees, nothing else. Remember that 'think' thing :p

It is an analogy, Oceanboy. Think about it.

I do like to gamble but I have heard that the payout on ships is the worst in the industry. I also know that cruise ships tend to have some loss leaders to get people into the casino and other places to buy things... any suggestions? :) Thanks!

What drink vouchers? That said, I think that they certainly would allow it if it applies to any alcoholic drink.

Are the room service nachos good? I do love nachos!

Awesome advice, thanks! Thanks all!
Everyone is sort of different but there are some guidelines as some have mentioned already. Limit the desert/sugary drinks to very few. Stuff like Mud Slides, White Russians, all the cream based liquors. These will all make you feel horrible later in the evening and next day. Some say not to mix, I personally have no problems mixing types. I very often do Beers and Cocktails in the after noon, Cocktails pre-Dinner, wine with dinner, maybe one desert type drink, and stick to cocktails late evening. But, I usually stick to the same liquor types in the evening. If I start the evening with a Rye/whiskey based drink, I stick to those for the rest of the evening. Old Fashioneds, Scotch, Manhattans, Sazeracs, Rye & Ginger. If I started with a Gin based Drink, then it is Gin & Tonics, Moscow Mules (I know it is Vodka, but they are both clear liquors and can go from one or the other), Gin or Vodka Gimlets. I stay away from the LIIT (Long Island Ice Tea) type of dinks in the evening. Only in the afternoon. If you want to try a nice Aperitif drink before dinner, Try an Aperol Spritz. If you like Orange, Aperol is Also Italian but is not as Bitter as it's relative Campari.
Afternoon Pool side Favorites:
Frozen Mojito
Moscow Mule
LIIT
Mai Tai
Margarita
Gin & Tonic
and of course... Beer (I like the hoppy stuff when in the sun)
Favorite Breakfast Cocktails:
Mimosa
Bloody Caesar
Irish Coffee
Drink lots of water. I always give that advice and never follow it myself

Enjoy Your Deluxe package... and cruise
