Just got back from 8 day cruise.

We had an inside cabin and had a frig.

Steakhouse was awesome, both service and food

Platinum Gift was Coffee mug with coffee and tea

Serenity was crowded

Aft pool was not adult only

There are no rental car port drop offs. there are offices for most of the rental car within a couple of miles from the port. if drop off is going to be Sunday I don't think there are rental car shuttles available to port but cab fare from hertz budget and avis should be less than $10.00

Give them your CC now so it will not slow down your check in. when you get onboard go to guest services and give them your e-certificates.

So I hope you get to come back and tell us how it ended up! Why in the heck does Carnival implement these new policies but fail to tell the crew on the ship? Somebody is dropping the ball.

Don't forget that with a GTY and you are assigned you can always be moved again if that cabin is wanted by someone paying a higher price.

We are planning on getting the Cheers program, and I understand that drinks over 10.00 are not covered on the plan, is it the price of the drink before tax or after tax that it is calculated at, I see that a classic cocktail with tax is 10.06,

Below $10 is always before the tip

We've used Larry's Limos several times. We have had excellent Service every time.

Tried twice caught twice

We've done both. During the winter the demographics on HAL are much older compared to Carnival. The rest of the year the demographics are not that much different. Food in general is a little better on Hal, service is not that much different, some excellent some not so much. We prefer the Steakhouse on Carnival than the Pinnacle Grill on HAL. Although it is comparing apples to oranges. Carnival is like a true NY Steakhouse and the Pinnacle Grill is more of total fine dining restaurant with a much more varied menu. Hal is much more laid back we were kicked out of the casino one night at 11:30 as we were the only two people in there.

Just saved $20 on a 1 day rental

We returned a car on a Sunday and there was NOT a shuttle.

No to 2 drinks at a time, Must be 5-10 minutes between drinks even at different bars

My PVP told me I would lose the casino credit if I did.

Still receiving casino offers. Just got one last week.

We have 2-3 times and were not given anything additional any of those times

We've never purchased alcohol to bring back. Not worth the hassle to save $10 a bottle for a few bottles

Not to put a damper on the W, but we have stayed there, although REALLY nice we found it to be geared to a younger demographic than we are. WE were early 50s at the time we stayed.

W has a much younger Vibe

The problem with shuttles is they will wait till they are filled and may make stops at hotels before getting to MCO. Make sure it is an airport shuttle also. You might want to check on Limo services if there are more than just 2 of you.
