  1. If you carry it on with you in your carry on luggage they will not let it on board and you will NOT get it back as they will not hold it for you.. If you put it in your CHECKED luggage and they find it they will keep it for you and you will have to pick it up EARLY disembarkation Day

  2. I was actually looking into some Celebrity sailings that were cheaper than Carnival. Solstice class ships, balcony, with the promo mentioned above for the drink package (or OBC or gratuities if you chose) and the prices were actually better than what I would have spent on Carnival.

Our main reservation and what kept us from booking was wondering if Celebrity was too "stuffy" and not wanting to dress to the nines anymore for formal nights and dinners. That and DH didn't like the single malt Scotch selections listed - he said Carnival has better. :p

Ive never seen a Celebrity price anywhere near the carnival pricing

  3. Nachi is one of our favorite Beaches, always go when we go to Cozumel.. You DO need to make reservations, and a DEPOSIT. Balance is payable in CASH when you get there. All food and drink is included they will take very good care of you. There is also a Large Hot tub and a swim up bar in the pool. Massages are available as well as snorkeling and other activities for an additional charge. It is limited to 100 people and the taxi driver will ask if you have reservations, also they will call a cab for you when you are ready to go. We usually give them 20 minutes notice before we Leave. You will have a great time.

  4. Southwest has not had pillows nor blankets in the last 5 years we have flown them. No Idea about the diaper thing but as close as the seats are together I would find it difficult to change a diaper with the baby on the tray. You can carry the Noro Virus onboard with you by just being around people you do not have to be on a plane to get Noro. FWIW I know I believe everything That posted by the Huffington Post, it is truly one of the Last Bastions of investigative reporting, right up there with The National Inquirer.

  5. Haven't read every post, but I may have a possible reason why were gifts were never received, because it has happened to us. We also upgraded just before sailing and never received any of the perks etc that we were supposed to have gotten. This has happened on 2 separate occasions. Make sure whoever at Carnival is investigating where your gifts went that they are aware of your changing Cabins.

    Good Luck

  6. Time of year also plays a part of the demographic while on board. During the summer months there will be many more multi generational families, and younger people on board. As far as the staff, they are mainly from Indonesia, as HAL has a training school located there. We have found the staff to be very professional but not always as personable.
