May 17 is Constitution Day in Norway (their 4th of July), so a baby might enjoy the flags and parades in port on that day. We're on both sailings and the ship will be in Haugesund on the 17th. There are videos on Youtube showing the ports and how to get around.

They're fine by me. Have had itinerary changes due to weather and war. Don't have a problem with being safe. It's disappointing if you have never been to a port, but on the other hand, I am on vacation from my everyday routine. And I have experienced itinerary changes with Royal and Celebrity so it's not confined to one cruise line

I have Cricket too. First time we went to Barcelona the sales rep sold me the $15 per month upgrade for International calls. Turns out it was just for me to be able to receive calls, not call out. To use my phone in Spain I needed to get their SIM card, Orange was recommended but Vodaphone also worked. SIM cards are sold at the airports. As MerionMom noted, many cruise terminals have free WiFi, it may not be the fastest or secure but it works, look for where crew are sitting around on their phones.
