I hate it.
I’ve looked at five cruises (‘25-‘26) and will not book any of them because I am not permitted to choose my cabin.deleted

OBC always gets used first. If your accounts are linked then his/her purchases will come off that.

@CineGraphic posted about the response to his 2-year old letter to Princess and the embarrassing (for Princess) offer of OBC.
That topic is closed, but I wanted to tell anyone interested that I just got one of those letters.
I didn't send a complaint letter. I DID tell our CVP why we were displeased and finished with Princess. That was about 3 months ago.
The response included this:
As a gesture of our commitment to you and to show our appreciation for your patience, we would like to offer you an onboard credit of $50 per stateroom with us. To make use of this offer, we have already applied the credit to your account. This is just a small part of our efforts to regain your trust and show how much we value you as a member of the Princess family. This offer is available to book online, by calling 866.691.7037 or your travel advisor. The expiration of this onboard credit is May 10th 2025.
The letter came from Alvin Stokes
FIFTY dollars PER stateroom?!!! Thanks a bunch...NOT
I sent a letter to Princess thanking them for returning traditional dining as an option. They gave me an Ultimate Balcony Dinner for 2.
I sent them a letter gently complaining about Customer service and how horrible it is to call with a question. I gave them examples of 3 different responses. (Don't tell me to use a TA, you don't know the story). I got a phone call apologizing and that the suite folks are completely aware of the issue. $50 OBC is pretty paltry but just in the last couple of weeks,I feel like they are now aware.

You won't be going to Nicaragua. Princess hasn't stopped there in at least 4 years and I have no idea why they just don't delete it from future itineraries.

We are sailing out of Fort Lauderdale next month and have requested a crib for our grandson. I have the same concern as the original poster. If you could share the information on renting, I’d be very grateful

Depending on where you are sailing out of...My daughter-in-law was able to find a woman in Fort Lauderdale that rents them. I believe she brought it to our hotel and then picked it up at the airport as we were leaving.

There have been people using floats on my last 2 cruises. It was ok when we were in port and very few people were in the pool. On sea days, I think they should not be allowed. JMHO.

My very first suite that I ever booked on Princess was a Vista Suite on the Grand. It was on 9. It spoiled me forever and now when I book a suite on the older ships, it is what I get. Done so on the Grand, Ruby, Sapphire and Caribbean. You'll love it.

I sent an email to the guy in charge of customer service. A woman named Janet called me back to reassure me that upper management is aware of how absolutely terrible their customer service is. We'll see if anything changes.

Well, it would be pricey. You'd have to do 2 cabins with one person and they would be charged double. Other than that, there is no reason why you couldn't do it.

First time to have Plus package. I have never used the Ocen Now feature in Princess app on previous cruises.
So if I am in the theater waiting for a show, should I flag down a waiter to order drinks - or just do it through the app?
What about for sitting at the pool?
Thanks.
Neither. There are no waiters in the theater and you cannot use the app for delivery in the theater. Take a drink in with you.
Pool, it's faster to flag down a waiter. In my opinion. But it's even faster to walk 50 feet to the bar.

My husband loves the Crown Grill. He thought the filet at Catch by Rudy was better than the CG. I prefer Sabatini's though I never get all the courses.

And pay the $5 room service fee recently implemented.
I always get a package but yes, if one doesn't.

rude? - by denying your write-ins as in ...
No, I called and asked about this as I have done it on every other ship and they were rude in their response. They were also rude when I called to ask about my incomplete elite mini bar set up which they never took care of.

Do I understand correctly that there is a different door hanger for breakfast for suites?
Yes. Or you can just call and order off the main dining room menu.

When I sail in cabins that are not full suites I always write in whatever I want on the card and to date have always gotten it. Bowls of berries, bacon, sausage, cheese omelets, hash browns…..
most recently on the Sapphire last December.
I've done that and received what I ordered on every ship but the Sky. They were pretty rude about it too.

I get that when I use Chrome. Firefox works great.

I also sent an email to the email address listed in this thread. I mentioned the last 2 phone calls that I had made to Princess. These were to my casino rep who had to transfer me to the OceanReady department. He stayed on the call so he could listen. He ended up breaking into the conversation because he couldn't believe how badly they were handling the reason for my call. Yesterday, I received a phone call from Princess. Janet, the woman who called me, reassured me that the upper levels of Princess are fully aware of how badly the outsourcing is working. Now, as to how quickly they will fix this issue, we'll just have to wait and see. I'm just happy they know.

There is an Alfredo's on the Fiesta deck close to "Good Spirits at Sea". It may not be as quick as the walk-up typically outside, but it is great pizza!
I've eaten at Alfredos on most ships. The Majestic was the best.

You can't. The list varies by bar and restaurants. You can't even get the labels for the plus package except Canyon Road. Most have Silverado and other decent wines available on the premier package. And don't expect room service to have anything good.

i've only done a guarantee 2 times, both times on casino cruises and both times I've been upgraded.
