  1. Not what we want to hear, Les. Please know you are in our every thought. Sending hugs and heartfelt wishes… Linda and Mario
  2. Couldn’t agree more, Les…to be sure☘️. our youngest granddaughter has been an Irish dancer for 11 years, since she was 3. Yesterday, her teacher, and owner of the Irish dance school, surprisingly gave birth a few weeks early to healthy twin girls, on St Patrick’s Day. Two pots of gold💚💚
  3. Sorry, a "lost in translation" moment. Bondi and Cronulla are Sydney suburbs, both heavily populated by Kiwis (New Zealanders) who we all love, btw; hence the friendly banter.
  4. What a superb way to celebrate your birthday and begin your exciting cruise adventure
  5. Sometimes, for me, the planning and anticipation are the most exciting parts of the journey. Your adventure will be wonderful.
  6. Now look what you’ve done: started a vanilla slice thread🥰. A worthy topic, though.
  7. I noticed that, Leigh, and it does sound delicious. However, I have to say that the very best vanilla slice I've ever tasted is made locally, at Cafe Delish in Deakin. The filling, like a French or Italian creme patisserie, is so light it almost floats. The pastry is light, flaky and crisp. It would have given them a run for their money, if it was entered. Now I'm tempted to hop in the car......
  8. Moruya has become a centre of medical excellence. Long overdue for our south coast. Stay strong, we're all thinking of you, always.
  9. My sincere condolences, GUT, on your father's passing. Wishing you and your family peace today.
  10. But a very handsome one, although always a rear-vision image to make hearts sink😆
  11. I posted before adding: and how are you feeling, Les? Hope you're feeling well enough to be out and about a bit, and hope your treatment isn't weighing you down💜
  12. It certainly fills the cafes. Looks a beautiful day; hope it continues for the weekend. Our daughter is going down with her family. We tend to visit during quieter times, these days. How's your Kimberley cruise going? I think the scenery would be spectacular.
  13. Thanks for the pic, Les. They usually anchor off Casey’s. Yes, it’s a massive sandbar. Get ready for the Canberra Day long weekend invasion😉
  14. Glad to hear it's all done. The bleeding and tenderness should hopefully settle very soon. Fingers crossed for you. No surgery is pleasant, is it? Your trip sounds very exciting; it's such a beautiful and historic part of the world.
  15. We’re all with you on this testing journey, Les. Stay strong and jeep that quirky sense of humour😉 And how are things across the vast ocean, Lyle?
  16. Our Q3 suite was provided with liquid shower gel/soap, shampoo and conditioner. Basin area was supplied with liquid hand wash and hand lotion. We used all, which certainly wasn’t watered down that we noticed, except the shampoo and conditioner, because we always take our own.
  17. We enjoyed Quercus (the wine, not the cosmetic) in QG restaurant on our recent 3-week QE cruise. It is typical of the pinot grigios from Slovenia and the neighbouring collio wine area of Friuli, the region of my husband's birth: crisp, fruity, refreshingly exquisite. Yes, it does mean "oak". I highly recommend it. Our Sommelier quipped that it had the same name as the toiletries aboard, but had a distinctly different effect on the palate.
