The creativity on here is astounding. I've searched high and low for appropriate Js and have been beaten for most of mine. I absolutely loved Jerusalem but won't post my pictures as there are much better ones on here already. Here is my contribution...

Hi Bee-ess and Avril. Thank you for your comments and observations. The wildlife and bird photographs are mainly due to my husband who has an extremely large camera and lots of lenses.....
As for our travels....we are both in our 70s so have been retired for a while and now have the time to travel. We also downsized a few years ago and put money into our travel fund. We have made a conscious effort to go to as many different places as we can so we look for bargains and are not cruise line loyal....we will go with any company that goes to places where we haven't been and we try to add extra days pre and post cruise. We usually have the cheapest inside cabin and do a lot of research for excursions and local transport. Unfortunately, I now have mobility problems so can't do some of the more active options any more and, with this awful virus, I am beginning to wonder if we will travel ever again. We should have been going to China, Kenya, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, several west African countries and Madagascar this year but they have all been cancelled and I think our Antarctica cruise in January will also be cancelled. This is why I am enjoying this thread and the one before it because it is keeping me busy looking for appropriate pictures as well as remembering so many happy times plus giving me some wonderful moments looking at other peoples' good times.
Long may these lovely threads continue.

Absolutely stunning H photographs and such creativity from everyone. My DH is a passionate bird photographer and I got my wander lust from my Dad who backpacked all over Europe before the war and read me countless stories about exotic places so cruising and pre/post cruise tours are the perfect answer.
I'll start my Hs with birds....
Black-Headed Heron Gambia.
Boat-Billed Heron Costa Rica
Fascinated Tiger-Heron Costa Rica
Yellow-billed Hornbill South Africa
We were lucky to find a bird sanctuary near Montego Bay, Jamaica, where our MSC ship docked and were delighted to have the opportunity to feed the hummingbirds.....an unforgettable experience...
White-tailed Sabrewing Hummingbird
Black-throated Mango Hummingbird
I'm not sure what this one is called

Hi Avril, Royal Caribbean was very generous by game prize standards. Each time I answered a question I got a progressively more 'expensive' prize so it went from a key ring, via pen, Highlighter pen, notepad, tote bag, baseball cap, insulated mug and the 'million $' prize was a choice of a bottle of good quality champagne (no good to me because I don’t like alcohol) or a meal for 2 in one of the speciality restaurants.
We take part in quite a lot of quizzes and some game shows and I really like the 'points mean prizes' concept that P&O, Fred Olsen, Celebrity and Oceania use rather than the trinket prizes given by some cruise lines. Our team came 2nd in an 18 day progressive trivia and lost by one point. Princess didn’t even give us a key ring for our efforts so we were a bit disappointed to say the least.Loving this thread....
