We will be on Radiance, docks 2/3/24. I have read a lot about the Tampa fog,
seems to be an issue in Feb. There will only be 2 ships in port, that being
said is 11:15am flight doable? I realize fog can be coin toss. should I
pick the 12:30pm flight? We self disembark.

I just booked with Cruise control, just wanted to let you know they offer
10% with code MHFAM. I have never used them but come recommended
here. I booked a private shuttle. Every little bit helps.

I should say end of vacation week.
-
It's school vacation week for the east coast, hotels are always higher unfortunately,
and airports crazier than normal.

Thank you, .👍

I have booked Freedom as a surprise trip for our son and DIL, I do have them booked on deck
8 (center) reg balcony. I see that deck 12 balcony is open, any thoughts please?
This is not their first cruise, nor first on RCC.
Thanks.

Lyft from Tru in Dania Beach was $23 (including tip---actually on this date one year ago). Took 16 minutes.
What did you think of Tru, it has some negative reviews being in a bad area. Did
you find that?
-
Thank you, must be around average price.

I was reading a hotel review and their name was mentioned, the price
seems to good to be true $13pp from hotel to cruise port. Has anyone
had any experience using them?
Thank you.

We had first flight out of Boston, layover less than an hour SC or NC (can't remember)
into MCO cruise, we have never gone day of, but seemed that our layover was in Carolina
I didn't give weather a second thought....What I didn't think of was NASA, yup NASA, got
delayed because they where having some kind of lift off to someplace.... We made the ship
but the stress let me tell you not worth it. Never again. It was in February.....not sure what
happened to my brain the day I booked the flights.....

Plenty of cabs lined up at the terminal also. Short 15 minute ride to the airport .
We walked off the ship around 8 am and right into a cab.
Thats great to know!! Thank you.

We were off the ship in one of the later groups and took the SLOW cruiseline bus and still were able to checkin at the airport at 9:30am. This was in Feb on a Sunday (busy cruise day).
Thank you, and thank you for just answering not making me feel bad like I'm bothering
you like the one before you.

We will do self debarkation, grab an Uber or taxi (haven't researched that yet open for suggestions)
Back in port on a Sunday morning, RC Freedom. First Sunday in November.
Thank you.

It depends what ship you are on. Royal Caribbean has two versions of the restaurant Giovanni's.
The newer version is Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar. (Freedom, Wonder, Odyssey) Here is its Menu:

The older version of Giovanni's is Giovanni's Table. Here is its Menu:

We always try and start with Giovanni's (or Jamie's, depending on the ship) for lunch on embarkation day. It is just such a civilized way to start any cruise. 16.99 is a good price.
Are you allowed to order more than one appetizer and entree or dessert? I've been watching
reviews on youtube and only one person said you can. Not sure if that is true.
-
I booked for lunch on Brilliance for $15.99 (hope thats good)
we have never been, can't seem to find a menu. Not on the app.
If anyone has it please send.

Thank you for that, I can't get any menu's to pull up......I think the
app is smarter than me!!! LOL

The new MD menu is that on every ship now or just a select few? I've
been watching some reviews on Youtube and they all seem to be on
larger ships. We are on Brilliance Saturday and just wondering if they have
the new menu. Looking forward to creme brulee every evening. ☺️

On the Brilliance in 10 day!!! I have have the refreshment package, looking to
see if they have a mocktail menu. Please feel free to give any suggestions or
you favorite!!!
Thank you.

We had to reach my mother-in law when her son passed unexpectedly,
we called (can't remember what number) they patched us to her room.
She wasn't in there they called her over the intercom and connected us
to the phone she was nearest too. She got off at next port and few home.
Passports are essential for just this reason.
Does Carnival offer room upgrade bidding?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

For example, RCC has Royal up program.(I think thats what it's called).
Curious if Carnival has something like that, would love to surprise daughters
with a balcony. And can you do it after final payment. Cruise is in Sept. (If they have it)
