  1. Loved the location, deck 7 is the only deck with an aft entrance/exit. So it was real convient to get down to playmakers/Boardwalk for a drink or something to eat. Not alot of foot traffic at all. It was also a nicer walk back to the room, I found myself walking thru the boardwalk instead of a boring hallway to get to my room. Also loved the deck 7 aft balcony by the Aquatheater. Great place to have a cup of coffee in the morning, and enjoy an aft view. I've stayed in a Aquatheater suite before(I always try to get an aft Cabin), and I can honestly say I Liked this location better. IMO the best location on Oasis class is deck 7 aft.
  2. They're going to let you all dine together. Just have one of the full suites make the reservations, for the entire group. The suite concierge will contact the full suite guest 2 weeks before, do it then.
  3. Stayed in 7730 this past summer. Its big but 10 people is a stretch. There were 2 recliners, and a small table with 3 chairs. That took up most of the balcony.
  4. For the amount of money you pay for the Aquatheater suite, the balcony on the 14 fl is way too small, its smaller than most balconies (Depth wise). if you can, move down to the 12th or 11th fl. 11th having the biggest of the 1 br Aquatheater suites.
  5. I just priced a 9nt on liberty a couple of days ago. 12k for 4 in 2 balcony cabins, RCI has to be on something with those prices. I used to say cruising is the most cost effective way to see the world. Doesn't look the case any more. At these prices they need to make it more of an all inclusive, and stop nickel and dime me to death.
  6. Oasis 11730, best balony of the 1 br suites, great room, only drawback is only 1 bathroom. PXL_20220624_175940726_TS.mp4
  7. Deck 11 has the largest Balcony of the 1 BR.
  8. Thank you for the info. For me makes a huge difference in cabin selection.
  9. Explorer was in Nj for how long.No indoor pool. Yes it would suck for families with kids. But besides a couple of weeks (Jersey week, Thanksgiving, Christmas). there really isn't that many kids onboard during the winter. I for one .hopes Odyssey homeports here. Love Anthem but think it's time for a change.
  10. Does the Deck 7 hallway lead out to the public balcony area by the Rockwall/Aquatheater. Love this on Oasis and hoping Symphony will be set up the same. Thanks for any info.
  11. No, just take a cab/ mini bus. Like $10 per person. I don't think I ever waited more than 5 min for a taxi, in either direction.
  12. Im sailing on her 9nt in july. I doubt Rci would dry dock her in the busy summer months of the northeast. I hope she gets her dry dock, but I hope she gets dry docked before coming to Jersey.
  13. What the hell is wrong with this company. It's a 15 billion dollar company. Maybe invest a little more in your IT department. It's not like the internet came out yesterday . Nothing works for me. Sorry, just needed to vent.
  14. Yeah loud during the shows. It didn't bother me. That's what I expected. Love the show, the best I've seen on a cruise ship. The room is great ,but I have 2 teen girls, so the bathroom situation was kind of a mess. As for the other floors, I would only book the rooms on the 11 or 12 floors. This room category is all about the balcony and the room on the 14 fl is crazy small. Not worth it in my book.
  15. The 11 th fl is the best of the 1 br Aquatheater suites. It's loud during the shows, but that's to be expected. The room is all about the balcony, it's huge. The only negative thing with the room, is the bathroom situation. There's only one, and the bathroom is in the bedroom. For 2 people, this is an amazing room. Video is of 11730 PXL_20220624_175940726_TS.mp4
  16. On the 7nt the earliest I have ever arrived is 12pm, the latest 3 pm. This is out of 5 cruises(4 on Anthem, 1 on Oasis)
  17. Was just on cruise planner for one of my cruises that stop at labadee. It looks like anyone can purchase access to the cabana area. Looks like it's called "barefoot beach cabana club". Is this the case now , is it still for suite guest only? Or is it RCI IT department at work again. Just curious. Thanks
  18. I booked this last april for $1000, Split between 3 families. IMO, well worth it. Absolutely love it, great food, great service. Would definitely do it again, but not at the 3K price point.
  19. Anyone have experience booking the UDP on the ship. My main question is , Should I arrange my reservations at one of the restaurants for the week, or should I go to the Diamond concierge to book them, I've never used the Diamond concierge for anything, so I'm not sure what they can do for me. Thanks for any info
