9-12, 2-5 and 7-10 (10 to 2am for a fee)
I have never seen lunch offered on a sea day.
As for dinner, depends on the ship/itinerary/kid counts. My last one offered no kids dinner on any sea day. The one before that was only port days and formal nights and the one before that was every day apart from day 1...

On Indy they were reaching 3 hour waits, so I think a lot of people would prefer a reservation system over wasting a day sitting in a loud dark room waiting for a 7 minute game...
-
So many parents reckon their kids are too mature for the age group designed for them, whether it's the nursery or teens, so why don't you just wait and see how they get on once on-board with all the other very mature 14 year olds....

It was the CD annual meeting in Miami.

Yes, I am sure because the regular CD is in Miami at their annual conference. Curious who is stepping into the role, temporarily of AM.
Kelly. USA

Adventure - Cian is now cruise director. Not sure who AM is now.

I love this thread.
Some of you are so dramatic it's hilarious! You make it sound like there's 50 savage dogs running around every cruise!
Personally, I've worked on ships for years and I don't think I've ever seen more than 2 dogs on-board a contract (6 months)...

Two things:
Love Grand Cayman! Would happily go there as replacement!
We are just off Rhapsody earlier this month, and indeed stopped at Key West (Military Dock) there was another cruise line ship at the downtown dock. Did not observe any damage or reason why a ship could not stop there. Damage done was minor and had been fixed.
There is some other reason your itinerary was changed...not dock damage cause.
Dock damage is the real reason!
KW can still take 2 ships, but if 3 are scheduled someone's not getting in!

We are scheduled to go to Key West on Feb 2nd cruise - be there on Feb. 7th. Have not heard anything about NOT going there.
You might want to contact someone to find out the REAL reason for your change. 😉
It is the real reason. 😉
It's was damaged a while ago. Google it.
KW can still accommodate 2 ships, which is why there's still reports of ships docking and not all itineraries have been changed. But if you're due to be there on day that 3 ships are scheduled someone's gotta make a change...
-
The dock in Key West was damaged months ago. I'm sure Google will tell you specifics.
The issue is when 3 ships need to dock, that's why people have docked/are docking/ aren't getting itinerary changes. KW can still accommodate 2 ships, just not a third!

Kids club food:
Lunch is only available on port days.
Dinner on formal night and any ports you're in later than around 4.30/5pm is guarenteed. They may do other nights too. Although, most ships ask you sign up beforehand (earlier in the day) as spaces are limited and they pre order the food.
-
Depends on the ship. Not every ship will do it every night.
General rule is, it will be available on formal nights and any night that there is a late port stop (after 5pm) for sure.

I wonder what other Royal ships are experiencing guests sick with Gastro illness?
Every ship, on the majority of cruises.
Just rarely becomes an outbreak like this one.
-
Call guest services!
Even if someone has been through this before, chances are it will be different this time...
-
Don't count on it though. I've seen lifeguards and deck crew patrolling telling kids not in diapers to get out.
I've seen guests arguing that their kids weren't tall enough for the slides in the potty trained side and still told to leave.
Depends on the complaints that cruise - if a parent of a little one has complained that the baby splash area is full of potty trained kids and they don't think it's safe or appropriate for their baby, they'll be on it and older kids will be asked to leave.
If not, or parents have complained that their potty trained kids aren't big enough for the slides, they'll let them in.

-
Info on the baby groups will be on the royal tots compass and not usually the cruise compass (just one for the whole cruise, not each day)
They should be offered on sea days around noon, either maritime music or a craft.

It is easy to imagine in this post of Willow that RCCL is a Scrooge, Scrooges's paid lawyers are the minions on this board that do not give up attacking the defenseless and defending Scrooge's terms and conditions. Willow is Bob Cratchit and their disabled brother is Tiny Tim.
What Scrooge 'ought' to do is offer Willow a voucher for a free future cruise, to compensate this family for the uninsured loses they incurred, which they obviously could not afford, hence this post on these boards.
The ghosts of past, present, and future 'ought' to persuade Scrooge to acquiesce in this act of good-will. These ghosts are the 5000+ viewers of this thread. They 'ought' to all log-in and vote 'Yea' for Willow. 5000+ entries could certainly have an impact on RCCL.
Alas, this misanthrope says 'nay', the viewers will not get involved. Prove this misanthrope wrong!
Calm down Dickens! 😂

There's no smoking in the casino on cruises from the UK thanks to UK laws and the ships and guests survive the season!

Perhaps it not that they are cheap. Perhaps it's that they object to attempts to guilt them into conformity.
Nah! I'm talking about the cheap ones. Stop trying to cover up for them 😂

Not saying all of you, but some of you just come across as really cheap every time this topic comes up (If you have a strong reaction to that statement then it's probably you 😂)...
So, just wondering, do you cheap ones try and argue that you shouldn't have to pay ports fees and taxes if you don't get off or do get off and don't like it? After all, you're not seeing the port or using its services or it's not up to your standard....

Go visit the incinerator room.Â
Go help the guys that open every bag and sort through every bit.
If you can stand the smell that is...

As an ex-cm I applaud those guys who's job it is and would do it for the rest of us even tho we were all meant to sort our own trash...absolutely one of the worst jobs on the ship!
