I just wasn;t sure if we should pack more season appropriate clothing or so with the usual "cruise wear". Lol

Sad thing: None of my usual cruise wear fit because I've gained about 20lb since May (last cruise) Ugh!!!! Damn Holiday Weight Gain!!!

We've always cruised in the warmer months and I'm not sure what to wear in December.

The weather will be in the 70s according to the forecast. Do ppl wear the typical shots and tanks on board during the day or something more winter like?

May sound like a crazy question, but I am being serious! Lol

We leave Monday on the Triumph and I would like to go to a Free or Cheap beach in Progresso.

Anyone have suggestions?

Everytime we've been in the Steakhouse the attire is very similar to the main dining room .

Some are dressed up more than others. But no shorts or tanks etc. Allowed.

We were very happy with this service on the Magic and would like to have more photos taken this December when on the Triumph.

But not sure if they offer this inboard.

I've stayed in the Spa cabins on other ships but not on the Triumph.

We are booked in a Spa cabin for our Dec cruise.

Have these cabins been upgraded with flat screen TVs?

Do they still have the wall blow dryers in the bathrooms?

Our last two cruises, Magic 5-18-14 and Triumph 9-13 we recd the Tervis Tumblers.

We have been twice (Nov. 2013 and June 2014). We loved it. The bus meets you outside the shopping area where the ship is docked. They will line you up just before you enter the shopping area.

The resort looks nice.

It says the bus ride is 40 min each way.

It seems to be hit or miss with the steakhouse on the Magic.

The first time was amazing.

The next time was horrible.

Steaks were cooked med rare when we requested well done.

They were taken back 3 times, yes 3 times. Finally go the steak

cooked well but the outside of the steak was charred black.

I didn't eat it. I asked to speak to the manager and all he offered

was to replace the steak. But at this point we had spend 2 hrs

and had other activities planned for the rest of the night.

The manager didn't adjust my bill (for the steak not eaten) nor

did he offer to have us come back at another time/day.

This time we also had a lot of trouble with service, drinks ordered

and not brought to the table. All we wanted was ice tea.

The next 2 visits to the steakhouse were good.

You just never know when you will have that bad experience.

But it didn't keep us from eating there,. We still go every cruise.

Taking a 5 night cruise in December. We have never cruised in December before.

I'm wondering what the weather will be like in Cozumel? Is it typically very warm?

What about the water? Lots of choppy waves?

We were on the Voyager of the Seas a few years ago and liked it. I believe the Navigator is a sister ship to the Voyager.

I did really enjoy the ice shows and the evening shows as well s the promenade area on RCCL.

But I love the. Magic. Have been on her several times.

We re planning on booking the navigator for our May 2015 cruise. Just for a change.

We are Platinum with Carnival and really enjoy the perks.

We will be Platinum with RCCL with the May 2015 cruise.

I am hoping they have good platinum perks.

I'm always so depressed when I get home from a cruise.

I hate returning to my normal life. A life where I have to fix my own meals and make my own bed, clean my own room!

I swear I grabbed for my S&S card I Target last week to pay! Lol

Did you take advantage of any of the spa amenities? What was in your room? They say you get some stuff from the spa... Were the chair noises from the Serenity deck 2 floors up? According to the map there should be cabins below you and the salon above you. If you can hear the chairs being dragged around from 2 floors away, that's not good!

 

DH and I will be in a spa cabin on Magic in October...trying to figure out what to expect...

We were in cabin 12044 deck 12 the last cabin on the starboard side. Directly above us,not 2 floors up just one is the serenity area. We were right next of the waterpark. We would walk out the side door and he water park is right there.

Yes you can hear chairs being slid across the deck above but it didn't bother us.

I've never taken advantage of the free spa amenities. The cabin is supplies with free Elemis products. Such as shower gel(mint) shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

The robes are more plush and you get free slippers for each person In The cabin. The slippers are yours to keep.

There was an envelope in the cabin with Spa coupons for free stuff but I didn't pay attn to what they were because I knew we wouldn't be using the, . Sorry, I should have paid more attention.

We have always had a Spa cabin on the magic and love it. We either have this cabin or it's twin on the port side. Always the very last cabin closest to the outside door.

We choose this end cabin so we will only have one neighboring cabin.

I have a question for anyone who has bought this package that included the disk.

The photog said we can take the disk anywhere and get prints made in wallets, 5x7s etc.He said we don't need a written release of copyright. Is this true? I thought you always needed th written copyright?

Was overbooked due to the number of weddings on the ship.

When we go back again this year, I want to have my daughters photos taken on the beach.

The pics they posted of the beach from Dream photography were amazing!
