  1. I have been platinum the last 4cruises and it always takes at least 2-3 hrs after to boarding to get our luggage. I have never noticed any colored sticker on our luggage tags. Are the stickers something new since last Sept (last time we cruised) ?

    We always tell the porters we are Platinum. But we are being dropped off by Lighthouse Parking and the porters take lots of other peoples luggage on the same cart as ours.

    Are we doing something wrong? Maybe we should drive up in our personal car and find porter to drop off to instead of taking luggage on the parking bus.

    And we always tip the porters more than the dollar a bag rule.

  2. We were there last May and are going again this May.

    We loved it. Especially love the bed/cabanas that are located in the

    pool area. Both my daughters took naps!

    The food was good and the drinks were strong and tasty.

    WE had an amazing time there. Everything was clean and well maintained.

    The waitress and bar staff were awesome. I tipped one of the bartenders

    $20 with my first drink and after that he was more than happy to serve

    me quick and added extra rum to my Bahama Mamas!

    AFter we left the Hilton we walked about 2 blocks to Senior Frogs

    and spent an hour or two there. Then it was about 2 blocks walking back

    to the ship thru the market place.

    Great day and Great Place!

    Have Fun!

  3. We always book the Spa balcony cabin on the Magic and have one booked for our May cruise.

    We love the location and decor. The decor, pictures, color scheme is different that the reg balcony cabins. The balconies don't have a top to them, so your open to direct sunlight.

    Elemis shampoo, shower gel and lotion is provided in the Spa cabins. You are allowed to refill the

    Bottles twice during the week.

    They provide free comfy slippers and plush Spa robes to use for the week.

  4. When are you cruising?

    We are cruising May 18th.

    We love the Spa deck and always book these cabins.

    The rooms have a little different decor and colors. They are close to all the action.

    You walk out the side doors and your at the water park.

    Free Spa amenities. And free slippers to keep and nice robes to use.

    And the cabin amenities include the spa shampoo, shower gels, lotions, etc.

    They are the Elemis brand used in the spa. Nice touch.

  5. Thank you all for your replies.

    I'm excited to have my daughter's pics taken with the private session

    photographer. I'm hoping he will be creative and an amazing photographer.

    I'm prepared to buy several hundred dollars worth of the pics.

    I normally spend atleast $400 on ship photos anyway.

    Thank you.

    I would love to see more private session photos if anyone has them to share.

  6. Does anyone have personal photos of the Cloud 9 Spa balcony cabins.

    I have seen the ones on the Carnival website but would like to see a fellow cruisers photos..if possible.

    Also, is there a door to the outside deck coming off the spa deck. On the Conquest they had a door at the end of our hall and it went directly to the

    outside deck.

    Thanks for your help...

  7. Here is a quote from the dining review for the Magic on this website:

    If you're hankering for something different for lunch on sea days, don't miss the Oceanside Barbecue set up on Deck 5 near the RedFrog. We felt bad for the occupants of the smoke-enveloped Deck 6 cabins just above the grills that were churning out sliders, hot dogs and chicken, but once we dug in to the feast we stopped caring. Diners can also enjoy homemade chips and salsa and a selection of salads.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I haven't heard of a BBQ before.
    Has anyone been? Is it good?
  8. This is seriously like a postcard photo! UNBELIEVABLE
    I hope when we travel to Half Moon Cay, I can get a photo like that! Holy cow.
    Thanks for the compliment. I love taking photos ..My kids get so annoyed with me.. But ..whatever..lol
    If you ever go to HMC you will notice that they have this long path and every so often there are benches like this to sit at. Each with its own unique traits..The path leads you to the buffet area and restrooms and other parts of the island.
    It is one of the prettiest places we have been to..
