Keith, Thanks for posting the more readable Osteria d’Ovidio menu - much appreciated. If you get a minute can you please ask about the Live Views and Panomax. Again thank you so much - we all know so much more about Crystal “enhanced” since you boarded the ship! 

How has the internet been? I know you’ve been on board only 3 days but do you notice any improvement in availability and response time from the old Crystal? Thanks. 

Keith, thanks again for all your comments and photos! It’s a little hard to read the Osteria menu but I don’t see the beef carpaccio on it that so many of us loved. Will that be served in Waterside just as you said the mushroom soup would be served in Waterside? Thanks. 

Keith, I am on Quebec to NYC October 5-13 and on board guest services told me there is one black tie/formal night but no White Night scheduled on that cruise… so I’m not sure that every cruise has a White Night… perhaps there’s no

white night because it’s a cooler weather cruise and perhaps that might change but wanted you to be aware that’s what OBGS has communicated to me. 

Keith, it all looks outstanding! Only 65 days until I sail but who’s counting? Will you post menus for all the restaurants at some point? I’m especially interested in the Osteria d’Ovidio menu - sounds like it is fantastic…. Keep enjoying and thanks again! 

Keith, happy anniversary to you and Anne Marie - what a great day for you all around! What time do you sail? We are lost without the Live Views and Panomax! Any chance they will be turned on soon?

It’s a dream come true!!!! A year and a half ago we all had tears in our eyes when Genting went bust and now we all have tears of happiness!!!! 

The ship left Venice about 2 hours ago and will arrive in Dubrovnik tomorrow! Pinching myself that the Serenity is again cruising!

I’m sure this will evolve over time. If not, Tastes won’t be able to handle the volume of people flocking there on black tie  “optional” evenings! 

Thank you cruisr - I was asking because there’s a huge sign up bonus for ink preferred now and their web site says 3X for travel purchases. I already have a chase reserve card. 

Today is one year exactly since we were able to view the Serenity Panomax live. Please Crystal bring back the Panomax and Symphony/ Serenity Live Views! 

Has anyone used this card to pay for a Crystal cruise? Did you get 3 times points (ie did it qualify as a travel expense)? Thanks!

What I really wanted to know was: if I received an exceptional Initiative credit which reduced my cruise fare by $900 does my agent receive commission on the full fare or on the full cruise fare minus $900? Is the commission exactly the same or is the commission reduced? 

Since it’s only $2225 per person now (I received the same email) does this reduce the total amount of credit we can take advantage of with the exceptional initiative? I sure hope not!

I received the clarification below on this which does not make sense to me … does this make sense to any of you? What does this really mean?

Although the front end commission remains protected, they are doing so for all the added paperwork and effort required by the agency for re-adjustments. They do not mention however that the bonus commission originally tied in with getting agents to re-book with Crystal once again has been lost.

If anyone from Crystal is reading this, please please please turn on the Serenity Panomax  and Live Views!

Based on the ports you have not been to, I agree with Tracie - definitely the second one. Taormina, Sicily is one of the top 5 places I’ve been to in Italy and the sail in to Kotor, Montenegro is spectacular. Croatia is wonderful. I hope you have a wonderful meaningful cruise.
