Keith , are they working on the ability to make dining reservations with others on the ship? The temporary fix is to email crystal but that’s not a good long term solution! I can just imagine he number of emails that crystal will receive and/or the number of people that will be lined up on embarkation day to see Leo or Remi. Thanks. 

Patty, you are right .. I see the 4 small drawers near the sliders now - still less storage than OC and not a lot of additional outlets. It’s hard to see but I don’t see any USB outlets. I’m hoping that somebody on the July 31st cruise will post detailed photos !

I was able to view the instagram post and sadly the room looks very much like the depiction we saw months ago. There is one tiny drawer at the top of the desk and only open shelves in the night tables instead of drawers. It appears that the only drawers are 2 drawers in the closet - significantly less storage space than on OC. Also it looks like the outlets near the bed are on the headboard but very low near the ground and will be obscured when the mattress(es) are in place against the headboard. This is a huge disappointment- OC had great storage space and I don’t see much improvement in additional outlets  which were greatly needed.

LeeAnne, I believe they removed all the tubs in the window cabins to make them walk in showers. Your TA can confirm with Crystal. 

The Serenity brochure shows 2 lauderettes on deck 7 ... I wonder if that is an error....

Kenz, I was on the same webinar and I took that comment to mean that new crystal was hoping to not attract some of the clientele who frequent the casinos. I didn’t think it had anything to do with Genting … we probably will never know the reason but we did get confirmation today that there is no plan to have casinos.

Has anyone stayed in stateroom 7035 or a similar room right next to the doors out to the promenade deck on the Serenity on OC?  If you are in the stateroom, can you hear the doors opening and shutting when people go out to the Promenade deck or come back in from the Promenade deck?  Thanks.

I wish they had that little arrow to go to next  cruise or previous cruise when perusing cruises. The old Crystal web site used to have that.

Does anybody know what happens if you apply the credit to a cruise and then cancel later? Do you lose the 1/5 credit or does it go back into your total credit?

I just received an email from crystal confirming they have checked with Moecker and agree with my exceptional initiative claim

amount. There is a certificate attached to the email which has the correct amount but gives the expiration date as Dec 31, 2024 instead of 2025. However the fine print on the next page says credit must be used by  31, 2025. Does anybody else have the 2024 date on their email? Is this an error?

I just received an email from

Crystal about the exceptional initiative. It clearly says:  “You may also use as many sub-credits as you wish on the same voyage for suites/guest rooms for your friends and family. “.  Am I reading this right? I can use 2 or 3 of my sub credits to pay for one room for a friend? 

Perhaps the reasoning on the back to backs counting as only 1 voyage is that there is already a discount on back to back voyage bookings.

The only reason I asked is that I think there is some owed commissions to the "old" travel advisors tied to these new bookings which receive credit.  I think I will double check with my new travel advisor and see what she says.

Last question: on the Apply for Credit form it asks if you are working with a travel advisor and asks you to input your travel advisor's name and agency name.  I changed travel advisors and booked cruises on new Crystal with a different advisor than the advisor I worked with for the cancelled old Crystal cruises.  Which advisor name should I input on the form?
