Well, we are about to complete our 14-day sailing on SD1, it was a back to back visiting the BVI San Juan to St Thomas, that ends on 2/24/24. We had great weather, just a few swells that made the tender trips a little tipsy. The food and service has been above expectations for our first trip on SD1. About 40% of the passengers are repeat guests. that says a lot for the brand. We did have some unusual officer changes while on board. Last week the head chef was changed, this week the hotel manager left, then this Friday the captain will be changed. We were not given the name of the new captain, I guess we will find out Friday. We are in Norman Island today with some excellent snorkeling at Treasure Island. I will try to post a detailed trip description at a later date.

Dave, You may be interested to see the review Ben & David mad on Seadream before and now. They sailed two times, once during covid.

MrDave, We sailed on Explora1 from Iceland To NYC last September had a fantastic trip all 1st class service and great food. Would like to book again soon. We will be on Seadream1 next week out of San Juan with a BtB for a 14 day trip. We are looking forward to the relaxed atmosphere. First time on SD1 I never see any roll calls for this line I guess people will get to know everyone on board because of the size. TA love EJ because of the upgrade they offer in commissions. It helps them fill the ship. I did notice the prices are getting a little high on Explora Journeys. Enjoy!

wirral36 This is a great suite. Super Ship. We never opened the sofa bed, you may be seeing the sofa cushions. It has two sofas they are very nice suede. We sailed on May 12-19, 2023 Barcelona to Barcelona Our suite was 16002 it is one deck down, we took this suite as the inside cabin is much larger.18001 has a much nicer deck area. To all now on this new ship. I know EJ1 has no formal nights, do you see lots of dress-up guests? Long dresses, ties, French cuffs etc.? Are most men in sports coats? % to total in a dinner. Items you wish you had with you ? We want to make sure we don't over pack with all of the extra gear we are planning to take to Iceland's cold temps. Thanks

we have been in Barcelona all week. Great place to visit. Just got off of a TA with Celebrity Reflection. Looking forward to the Europa on May 12. Any one want to meet at the sail away? Can anyone suggest a good spot for the Sail-Away on the Europa from Barcelona? Maybe we could meet everyone on this list at Sail-away for some bubbly. We leave for a Florida, Transatlantic on Reflection April 23rd and then 6 days in Barcelona prior to the Europa on May 12

We are booked on Iceland to NYC in September. They seem slow in posting excursions, I don't even see any for the first trip in July. Am i missing something?

Great review, Alistairg! We are looking forward to the Europa 5/12/23 trip from Barcelona. B_A_H are you going this same date? Has anyone been stayed in owners suite 16002? Can't find any "actual" pictures on line only cabin 18001... Thanks
