  1. It's not inconvenient at all. It fits in my suitcase, and I pack stuff inside of it. It's great for wine bottles, and most of the ice is still there the next morning. It's also great for taking drinks out on the balcony. If I purchase breakable stuff while we're on vacation, I pack the items inside the cooler and then put the cooler in my suitcase for the trip home. Edit to add: We used to travel with our yellow RCCL cooler bag that you could get with buckets of beer, but that cooler doesn't completely close and it sweats a lot. The one we travel with kind of looks like this, but mine is shorter:
  2. Email from Royal. It's actually for the whole month. I had posted a screenshot from my phone. Here's a cut and paste of the terms. Make this Mother's day one to remember! Celebrate with family and use your Royal Caribbean Visa Signature® card to earn 3 points for every dollar spent on eligible dining purchases at any of your favorite restaurants (excluding onboard) now through May 31. Now, that's a win-win! Offer Terms & Conditions: You will earn a total of 3 points (1 base point and 2 bonus points) for every $1 spent from May 1, 2023 through May 31, 2023 on eligible dining Net Purchases, excluding dining Net Purchases on cruise ships. Net Purchases is defined as purchases minus returns, credits and adjustments. Cash Advances and Balance Transfers are not considered purchases and do not apply for purposes of this offer. Eligible Net Purchases include those made with a specific merchant category code (MCC), as follows: Restaurants (MCC 5812) and Fast Food Restaurants (MCC 5814), Bakeries (MCC 5462), Miscellaneous Food Stores, Convenience Stores and Specialty Markets (MCC 5499), and Drinking Places (Alcoholic Beverages), Bars, Taverns, Nightclubs, Cocktail Lounges, and Discotheques (MCC 5813). Merchants are assigned an MCC based on the merchant's primary line of business. We do not determine which MCC a merchant chooses to classify itself as it appears on your billing statement (or digital rendering). We group similar MCCs into categories to help you earn rewards on purchases made at specific merchants. Your purchase may not qualify to receive bonus points if the merchant does not process transactions under these MCCs or your purchase is processed through a third-party payment account, mobile/wireless card reader, digital wallet not supported by Bank of America or similar technology where the technology does not support transmission of MCCs. For those Net Purchases, you will earn 1 base point per $1. Not all merchants accept all credit cards. The value of this reward may constitute taxable income to you. You may be issued an Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 (or other appropriate form) that reflects the value of such reward. Please consult your tax advisor, as neither we, nor our affiliates, provide tax advice. Limitations: All of the following conditions are applicable throughout the entire promotional period, which is inclusive of the date the offer begins through the date the promotional points are fulfilled. Your account must be open and have active charging privileges in order to receive the promotional points as a result of this offer. Other advertised promotional offers can vary from this promotion and may not be substituted. This offer will not apply to any Preferred Rewards bonus, customer bonus or account opening bonus, if applicable.
  3. We always take a small cooler and ask the room steward to fill it daily with ice, as well as filling the ice bucket.
  4. The list of exclusions posted above doesn’t include most holidays. Are holidays still excluded (President’s Day, to be specific)?
  5. I received my refund. $50 OBC is showing as well.
  6. It is available for both cruises on my Oasis B2B in May. I booked it for the first leg. I’m in a suite and I’m D+, so I already get free internet and free laundry bag. I’m doing it for the champagne, the all-access tour and the lunch.
  7. You could easily pack one of those plastic ones that fold flat. They sell them at Walmart and TJMaxx.
  8. Yes, this. ALL of your points will contribute to March 31, not the new year.
  9. Sky class gives each cabin member free internet.
  10. I have this problem every time we cruise. I have never experienced it anywhere else. On two cruises, I called ahead of time and added a low-sodium diet requirement. If you're eating in the MDR, following dinner they will bring you the next evening's menu and take your order because it will be prepared with as little salt as possible. Even if you are eating in a specialty restaurant, the waiters will know that you are on a low-sodium diet and will make meal suggestions. Additionally, I tried to avoid tap water at all costs (aside from ice in my drinks, of course!). These two things made an AMAZING difference. I will take magnesium supplements on my next cruise and see how I fare with those.
  11. We will be on RCCL Ovation for nine nights from Vancouver to Honolulu. Days 7 and 8 are in Maui; Day 9 cruises the Napali Coast; and Day 10 disembarks In Honolulu. Will the casino close sometime during the night of Day 6 and stay closed for the remainder of the cruise?
  12. We have an October 2023 cruise booked through NextCruise and have applied two Casino Certificates for a total of $550 off. When DH receives his certificate in April for a free annual Prime cruise, can we apply the free annual Prime cruise to this October cruise? Final payment isn't due until July, so that's not a problem, but I'm not sure if we can apply the multiple casino offers (two Casino Certificates and free Prime cruise). We are in an owner's suite, so we are just looking to apply the value of the interior cabin.
  13. My refund from November 18th posted overnight. It is dated December 10th and was there when I looked this morning.
  14. Actually, my above statement is incorrect. My cancellation WAS November 18th. When I booked the excursion, I thought I put a checkmark in the box to use OBC to pay for the excursion. When I received the confirmation email, I saw that I was billed for the full price, so I immediately canceled and rebooked using OBC. The cancellation confirmation email says I should see the refund within 14 business days, which I haven’t. I just called Royal and was on hold for less than a minute before someone answered. The representative asked me to hold while he looked into it because the refund was showing in their system as requested but not completed. He then came back after about five minutes and apologized and gave me the same excuse Royal is giving all of you that, due to the large number of cancellations on that date, the refunds are all waiting “in one stack” and taking up to 14 days longer than usual. Then he asked if he could interest me in purchasing a beverage package. I was like, no, not at all.
  15. Your boarding pass is your sea pass until you get to your cabin and get your actual sea pass. Choice is the lowest casino tier and does not get free drinks.
  16. They put your casino level on your sea pass card so that when you are buying drinks in the casino, all they have to do is see Prime, for example, on your sea pass card and they know your drinks are free.
  17. Still waiting for a refund from November 21.
  18. We have sailed on all Royal ship classes, I believe. In December we sailed Anthem for the second time. In September we sailed Allure. In October we sailed Adventure and were bored with dining options and variety of shows. In May we have a B2B on Oasis, and we are sailing Ovation in October. Royal suite class is a plus as well. We plan to stick to the bigger ships unless the itinerary is super appealing.
  19. I received the survey, and I am not booked on Symphony.
