Thank you so much for the review! We are booked on this itinerary/ship for October 2024. I was already excited to try out the YC and now it’s going to be even harder to wait. At least I have 3 other cruises (on various lines) between now and then!

I was able to grab the package for about $80 pp/pd (grants included) this weekend for our September Ovation sailing. It’s only about $30 more for the week than I paid for our Symphony sailing this past February. I felt like I got a fair deal in Feb and, given price increases on absolutely everything lately, I’m fine with this price for Sept as well.

Hey there! We’re sailing with NCL the first time in Feb 2023 after previously sailing with Royal and Disney. We’re booked into a Haven Aft Penthouse on the Escape and I’m second guessing my deck choice. Currently I have us on deck 9 after moving from 14 (we wanted the bedroom with the window as opposed to the bathroom). Is deck 9 a decent choice? very much looking forward to our first NCL experience. Any advice is appreciated!

Is it fairly easy to get an Uber to pick up at the port? This would be my preference to get to the airport (flying out of Melbourne).

I understand it’s totally subjective! I love food so I appreciate any opinions. Sailing Mariner next month and going back and forth on whether or not to purchase the UDP. Any recent experiences with the main dining room or specialty dining? I’m having a hard time making a decision. We are on a 5 day sailing with 2 sea days if that makes a difference! Our first cruise our boys were 11, 9 and 8 and we were comfortable with the three of them exploring the ship together, grabbing ice cream, etc. Obviously no water activities and with very firm expectations for behaviour. We knew we could trust them to tattle on each other if someone was out of line so I felt very comfortable with the arrangement.

Anyone have experience getting from Port Canaveral to the Melbourne airport? I have no problem using Uber but I have no idea how reliable it is getting one to the port. Any options I should look at? I have a flight leaving at 11:30 and will be walking off the ship with only carry on baggage. I’ve booked Cruise Control to get me from Universal to Port Canaveral but, unfortunately, they don’t go to Melbourne

Nothing is showing up for CocoCay for our b2b Symphony cruises for February. Some of the other ports have excursions but nothing for Coco. Everything is there for our 5 day Mariner for September.
