  2. Sometimes you just got to get back on that horse. Kraken Old Fashioned, Cheers everyone, I wish I was still with you!!
  3. Linda graduated from UMKC law school in 1990. We are good friends with Pat McInerney and I’m real good friends with Michelle his ex wife.
  4. Yes Linda knows all of them. She went to law school with Pat, She knew Chip when he worked at the prosecutor’s office when Linda was a law clerk for Judge Mauer. She has tried a few cases in Dale’s courtroom. Small world isn’t it?
  5. We live right next to Lakewood in a sub division called Oak Ridge Meadows. She was a longtime assistant prosecutor for Jackson County in family support.
  6. Going through all my pics and video. I know many of of you have seen small snippets of Nicko Cruise's small ship World Voyager docking next to us in Costa Maya. Here is the full time lapse video shot from my Go Pro. It's fun to see that little baby come in and bouncing up and down from the waves. Must have been a good ride for all of the 200 passengers on board.
  7. She was approached by her longtime good friend who is a very successful lawyer who's been trying to get Linda to work with him for years. He asked her to take over several labor cases and she agreed. That turned into writing briefs for some other attorneys and then she took mediation training so she can become a mediator. The money is too good to pass up and will enable us to cruise more often. She can set her own schedule. I think she likes being back in the game I told her to do it as long as she enjoys it. So we will see how long it lasts. The income will be really nice. I am doing an onsite video editing gig next week. I'll see if my freelance editing can pick up. It's nice to keep in shape. I've been doing nothing for over a year. I was getting kind of bored.
  8. Is there something wrong with me that after being back from the Bella Cruise for five days I’m ready to go on another cruise?
  9. Happy to hear you are home safe and eating some comfort food. That’s what we did by making some grilled cheese sandwiches.
  10. Thanks Graham and yes swelling has gone completely down. Every cruise it takes a couple of days to get back to normal. Knees are better. I keep forgetting how much walking you do on a cruise ship.
  11. I'mmmmmm Baaaack!!! Sorry it's been awhile. I don't think I can even get caught up with this thread so my apologies if I missed something. @Ozark_Kid Happy Birthday John. I'm thinking of you. Many of you have followed us on the Bella Cruise. What an incredible time. I was so happy to now be able to put a face to some of the names I correspond to on a daily basis here. I must say everyone was incredible and so nice. I feel blessed to know you. I am slowly getting back into everyday life. I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I hope everyone is doing well.
  12. We saw them setting up stages when we headed to the port. I thought to myself, glad this is not this weekend.
