  1. I sailed with my two kids over the Christmas holidays. My daughter and I were passengers 1 and 2 and my son wasn't required to get a package. One thing to note is that passengers 3+ also don't get the free specialty dining, so we had to pay for one meal when visiting Cagney's, but they made it affordable by throwing as much as possible onto my daughter and my orders.
  2. Hi! Here are some pictures of our cabin - 15796 on the Starboard side. We *loved* it and are now spoiled to this category. We're on Encore next sailing and will definitely miss this type of cabin.
  3. Ah. OK. Those are Family Balcony cabins, which don't apply to the killer group rate we're on. Almost doubles the price from a balcony just next door!
  4. Cool! And just confirming you were in 15232? That's a mid-ship angled balcony cabin on the port side of the same deck as the Observation Lounge.
  5. Great to hear! Were you able to hear the gym, just above?
  6. Sorry for dragging this up so late, but we are currently booked in 15232 and was wondering the same about the fitness center. Did you end up staying in this cabin, and if so, was the noise bad? Thanks.
  7. We were just on the Starboard side - 15796. Also an SJ Suite. It was amazing. Our butler, Richard, was the best. Everything magically appeared in our cabin when we needed it. Room service took 10 minutes for a great turkey sandwich 🙂. The slide was definitely not an obstruction for us when looking thru the living room. We'd sail in this cabin again in a heartbeat!
  8. The fantastic host and his wife mentioned during our show last week that this was the end of their contract. He was so "game show host" that we said they'd have a hard time finding someone as good! Guess they didn't 😞 . It was a fun hour. Set pieces are identical to the show. Very good production value.
  9. I was in search of cookies all week! They said they're only included in the kids meals in the dining rooms, and they wouldn't give me one!
  10. Nope. But you can walk all the way around Deck 8. Can't really run, though.
  11. The shops are back! They were open for our 3/1 sailing. Just off yesterday. And yes, there's a Pandora shop.
  12. We booked a balcony guarantee on Bliss the week before Christmas and was upgraded to a Club Balcony Suite right above the Cavern Club. We could hear every note of the "Beatles" rehearsing late afternoons. Was like a private concert. We enjoyed that cabin.
  13. Yes! There's a big sign that says the machine is not on any drink plan - but it is if you have FAS+. Just ask the bartender for a cup and scan your card. Went there every morning on Viva to avoid the lines at the regular location.
  14. Hi! NCL have a page which lists all of the perks at https://www.ncl.com/why-cruise-norwegian/cruise-accommodations/cruise-suites-and-penthouses We are in a category SJ on Prima in March. Can't wait!
  15. We thought the same, and then noticed that the trash can in the main room was actually two stacked on each other! We moved one to the bathroom...
  16. Hi. Keep in mind that on Prima and Viva, there are also suites that are like "Haven-lite". You get a butler, concierge, pre-arrival planning, priority boarding, private breakfast/lunch in Cagney's, and a host of other Haven perks - although you do not get entry into the Haven complex other than for a cocktail party one night. Cost us thousands less than the Haven itself.
  17. We were just on the 5-night sailing. When in Ensenada, try to make it to Manzanilla, a restaurant that's about a 20 min walk from the pier. It's amazing and owned by a Mexican celebrity chef. Fish and fancy tacos - and a margarita that will kick your tushy. Total bill or 3 of us, with drinks, was US$100.
  18. We just got off Bliss and really liked Ensenada. More than Cabo!
  19. I just checked pricing and they want $1,020 to deliver just a mattress to my home in Los Angeles!
  20. I just saw the pix. We are on the starboard side, but same category and slide 🙂
  21. Thanks for the info. I guess we were grandfathered in as our bookings thru 2025 were all booked prior to this change.
  22. What deck are you on? We're in an SJ on deck 15 in March. We've been wondering about the size of the balcony and yours looks HUGE. TIA!
