My Mother and I did this tour. It is easy walking. you get to tour the house and grounds first then have tea. It is a beautiful room and the tea and food were very good. all the food is grown and made on the island.

Just looked at deck 17. There is a royal suite 1758 that is showing. However it does not show on deck plans. Guess that is the pinnacle chapel.

Aside from the dining changes, I think the OP has a right to be unsure of the cruise. We booked Oasis knowing that she was going into drydock. However, it appears that major changes are now taking place which we did not know about. People as far out as 1 month after drydock are having their cabins changed. apparently work will still be going on during my cruise. When I wrote to royal they said not to worry. Well if they are putting cabins in place of VCL that is something I would want to know ahead of time. We love the VCL. Too late for us to cancel. Look at the webcam for the boardwalk. Being demolished as passengers are on her. Did they know this? would they have cancelled if they did? Don't know. However, with all that being said, I am still going on a cruise and will enjoy no matter what. Just don't know why all the secrecy

I am a planner. I like to have things set out beforehand so I will book shows before I sail. Do we attend them all? Not always, because sometimes we are tired or decide to do something else instead. For me, having plans set up ahead of time makes me more relaxed especially if there is something I really want to do such as the All-access tour and comedy club. But each has their own personality and their own opinions. However, if my plans go awry - I am on vacation so I let it go no big deal.

I thought the same thing for our upcoming cruise. All is said was e tags. But just as everyone has said on the magic 49th day all of a sudden it asked if I wanted to tags mailed to me. I checked on the 50th day and not there. 49 is the day.

I wrote to Royal and also posted on their twitter site my concerns. We are traveling on the 3rd trip after the TA. I was told the only change that would effect my trip would be the change from Hairspray to CATS.

Your photographs are beautiful.

I am waiting to hear from the passengers on Quantum about DD. It may turn out to be great. At this point I don't know and will not make any judgements. I know my dh will love the idea of no formal night. But as for me, I am taking a wait and see attitude.

UNV-IT, and we hope that you give us a report as we are waiting for what the true changes are.

My granddaughter had a baked potato each night

Please keep up informed of any changes they are making during drydock. We keep hearing rumors.

Since I am sailing Oasis in Nov. I am really looking forward to the changes. Hope those sailing trans will let us know. Emma can't wait to see your pictures.
-
I just hope those on the transatlantic will post "live" what the changes really are. Or maybe RC will release the info beforehand.

I went to order the premium at $49 a day and the total was 385. so that totals $55 a day. Isn't that what it used to be?

Just received this email
We regret that CATS is not yet available to be booked for your sailing. Our supply teams have worked diligently to meet our estimated goal of having reservations ready by August 1, 2014; however, we were unable to complete the process by this target date. Replacing Hairspray with CATS means that all current Hairspray information has had to be removed and new information created. This process has taken longer than anticipated and we apologize for any inconvenience caused as a result of this delay.
Unfortunately, we are unable to give an estimated date of when CATS will be available for reservations. We kindly ask that you check Cruise Planner often in order to make reservations quickly when it becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I was told that as long as we were in the picture with others it would be part of our package. However any pictures the coupe takes without you will not be - only exception they said was for children sailing in a different cabin. but before you book you can read their rules and regulations to make sure the info I am giving you is still correct.
-
I clicked on the "cruise not showing" button and it took me to a form to complete. When I submitted it they said they would send me an email when my sailing was ready.

Thank you for your wonderful report and for emailing it to me so quickly. I felt like I was right there with you. I read it till 11pm last night and had to finish is this moring. Don't know how you could keep up that pace for 2 weeks. The only question I have is - what exactly did the captain say about drydock. We will be on her soon after the dry dock and just curious what is to be done.

So if you are in a suite you also get this tour? does that mean I should not prebook the one online. I am new to a suite (our 40th anniversary special). Does anyone know if this is the same tour? should I book the one online? Thank you

I second the luggage valet service. well worth the money not having to worry about collecting luggage especially with a one year old.

Do you know if you have to consume the drinks in the Concierge Lounge. Because if they are free from 11AM until 8PM, I may consider cancelling my drink package.
