  1. I was just going to ask how much it costs. Thanks! We were just going to cab/Uber to the airport. Starting to rethink that plan.
  2. Just trying to clarify. I’ve never had loot before, but will on our New Years trip. For the slots, can’t you load it into a machine, play a few spins, print out the ticket and bring it to the cage and cash in your ticket?
  3. I think it’s safe to assume you are confirmed. It wouldn’t be in your account as a “booking” if it wasn’t. It would be nice to have a confirmation though! As has been noted, the emails are all screwed up. I’m going to give it a day or two and if I don’t get a confirmation I’ll contact them.
  4. If you have a booking number and it shows on your app, you are booked. At least I hope so, because I’m in the same situation. I haven’t gotten an email confirmation yet, but my new booking definitely popped into my account a couple of hours ago.
  5. It’s my understanding that you can order four and share. And then go twice. 😃 we made a mistake on a cruise last year and used a Latitudes voucher at the sushi bar. We ordered eight things and couldn’t finish half of it. The waitress said we should have used one FAS meal and ordered four. But we had already used our FAS meals. 😢
  6. Good suggestion on the burger! I always ask for onion rings instead of fries. With a side of sour cream. YUM! Only 3 months to go!
  7. Cool. We haven’t gotten the email confirmation yet. Just seeing it on the website/app. For us it’s definitely showing as a bar tab. We had no loot or bar tab on the previous booking, so it has to be from the rebooking.
  8. Success! We just confirmation that we’re booked on the 8 night New Years cruise on the VL, replacing the cancelled identical trip on January 13! So excited. 😃 our reservation is also showing a $600 bar tab, as opposed to Sailor Loot. At this point I’m assuming it’s a glitch in the system and will be fixed eventually, So, the requests are starting to be processed!

  10. No advice on the loot issue except to keep watching it and if it doesn’t straighten out to call them. I’d give them a few days to let the dust settle though. Question for you, though. When did you submit the form? And you got confirmation this morning? I submitted the form on Thursday, got a case number, but still no confirmation of the new booking.

  12. I’ve heard the same things, but have heard nothing myself. I had to have been one of the first that submitted the form. It went in within an hour of getting the email on Thursday. I’ve been told the cabin is on hold, but have nothing in writing and nothing shows in my account (except that the original booking has disappeared.) I’d love to have a confirmation number, but I don’t. So we wait….
  13. Possibly. To the OP: In summary, the rules for the drink packages are the same in the Haven as the rest of the ship. Two drinks per person per order. If you have a travel mate”s card they will give you four or two doubles. I’m not sure there’s a hard and fast rule on how much time must pass between orders. That being said, you will find the best bartenders in the Haven bar. They will get to know you and create drinks they think you will enjoy. It’s also the only bar on the ship that will smoke your drinks, normally only in late afternoon, evening, but they are fabulous and fun to watch them making the concoctions. It’s my favorite part of the Haven bar!
  14. I’m afraid I really don’t understand all these questions. You’ve been told several times that the rules for the drink packages are no different in the Haven than in any other part of the ship. I’m not sure exactly what the question is, but that’s the answer.
  15. I know this wasn’t addressed to me, but the rules are the same all over the ship, including in the Haven. Another reason (probably the primary reason) is to try to prevent people with a drink package from getting drinks for those that don’t have a package. That being said, the Haven bartenders will know you by name within a day of onboarding. They will know who has what package and may “bend” the rules occasionally.
  16. I don’t remember for sure, I sailed with them twice, once paid full fare and once with URComped. I think DBEs showed up automatically for the paid trip, but I had to go back and forth a bit on the comped trip. Ultimately the perks were added. But I may be misremembering. I went with my husband on both trips. The first (paid) one I had the status match, but he didn’t. The comped cruise he had the benefits in his own rights for having sailed with them twice. Maybe we got them on the comped cruise because of his status? Who knows. I’ve yet to figure out Virgin’s loyalty program and how it is applied. I don’t think they even know. All I know is I had BBEs on both trips. We’ll see what happens with this next one. Assuming we get it.

  18. Not sure what the official rules are, but I got it on my last URComped sailing with Virgin.
  19. Sorry, I’m out tonight but will try to answer all the posts directed to me. DBE is Virgin’s status program. I originally qualified by a status match from NCL. I’ve sailed on them twice so now qualify both ways. My second ailing with them was with URComped. It was great. We got DBEs on that sailing. I hope the same works this time. I also got the suggestion for the NYE sailing from URComped, although we had already requested it through Virgin. I'm not aware of time limitations on our requests. If that’s the case, no one has told me that. hope I answered all the questions! I just hope we get the NYE sailing!
  20. Glad to hear it. I’m also on a URComped sailing. It’s my second one. The last one I got DBEs and the guy today told me that we’d get it as well. There was no indication that we couldn’t take full advantage of Virgin’s offer, including the $600. In fact, URComoed sent me an email telling me to book. We’ll see what happened, but I fully expect to be on the New Years voyage, which is a URComped Meetup sailing - adding more perks. I hope it works out. Should know for sure in a few days.
  21. Sorry, I didn’t think to ask. He did say that all perks will convey. I’m working on the assumption that the $600 of Sailor Loot is included, but we’ll see if and when I get the confirmation. Our DBEs were also not showing on the original booking. He made a note to add them. if this works out they are actually paying us to go on this cruise. But that’s still an “if”.
  22. Uhh, no… as previously mentioned, only the Owners Suite comes with bottles in the room. I don’t know if you can bring any remnants home. I’ve never been in an Owners Suite and likely never will be. 😂 I also don’t think you can get bottles of spirits with the Premium Plus package.
  23. Thanks. I also called immediately upon receiving the email and filled out the form while I was on the phone with Sailor Services. Mine is a little more complicated because it’s a casino booking and I’ve been bounced back and forth a bit. I talked to the casino department today and he assured me that they are simply working through the volumes of requests, even this weekend, but there’s little doubt that our request will go through. He said there are hundreds of Sea Terraces available for the sailing we want - VL New Years sailing leaving December 30.
  24. Completely agree. I’ve never felt the need for the premium package. Mostly I would use it for Starbucks,but the coffee is so good in the Haven that’s not needed!
  25. None. Haven guests don’t automatically get a drink package. It’s the same as the rest of the ship. You can get the basic package with Free at Sea or upgrade to the Premium package.
